Delicious breakfast at 3pm ;)

Visiting Huskisson from Sydney, I entered 5 Little Pigs because it was packed. Right next door, the neighbouring cafe was empty. I expected a wait, and around 30 minutes later I was served my meal. Not to bad for how many people were inside and the quality of food I was served. The dish was perfect. Every item cooked exactly how I love and how I requested. At $27, not going to eat there very often, but 100% recommend 5 Little Pigs for the quality and service.

Busy, but worth the wait!

I was looking forward to going to this cafe, as the reviews looked good. I was worried it would not meet my expectations. It exceeded them! We got the last seats the window bar. We were warned that there was a long wait for food. The wait did not seem too bad, as we ordered milkshakes, smoothies and iced coffees, and were warned of the delay. The food was great, I was a bit uncertain about my choice of zucchini fritters, but they were a bit like a hash brown with some zucchini, and the rest of that dish and the sauces complemented it well. The poached salmon was delicious. Large portions, with a range of staple orders to more interesting options on the menu. The staple bacon and egg roll that another table ordered, looked reliable and enticing. The service was friendly and efficient, even in the rush. The view was great. I would make this my choice every time!

Always a winner

Everything about 5 little pigs is “next level”!!! First and foremost the food is chef quality and the menu is always changing with exciting choices from the specials board. Granola with pannacotta is to die for as is the zucchini fritters with ocean trout - yum 😋 The coffee is always fantastic no matter who makes it and always served with a smile ! Hats off to all the staff for adhering to all the covid regulations in regards to numbers of people allowed inside and out. As a local regular, it’s comforting to know that they have taken covid restrictions seriously and have been so caring and professional during this time. The positive from Covid is that it has taught us all “patience” , and we are more than happy to put our name on a waitlist and wait for a call when our table is ready. I might add, they have also been recording email addresses and contact details as an extra measure . Well done guys 🙌🏻 🙏

Friendly staff but spoilt by missing meals

We stopped here for lunch after hearing good reviews. The staff were super friendly and found our group a table despite it being very busy. Our orders were taken by a friendly waitress but it was quite a wait for the drinks. After 40 minutes our meals started to arrive, but only 1 of the 4 burgers arrive. The others were forgotten. We ended up taking them away with us when they were eventually ready but by this stage we had three hungry and cranky people in our group. Shame it spoilt what would have been a nice meal. I will give them another chance when next in the area however it will take some convincing to the others.

Great food and service

The cafe was very busy esp on the weekend, we waited for at least 45 mins to get table and waited for another 30 mins to get the food. It was Sunday 10 o' clock in the morning so we expected that. Food was great, interesting, good portion size and yummy. Coffee and juice was great! Service was attentive although the food was quite slow..this could be due to COVID effect.

I'm already planning on another trip to Huskisson just so I can have the same lunch. My zucchini fritters with halloumi and salad was absolutely delicious I could have eaten it again the following day if we were in the area. My husband had the fried squid which he enjoyed, and a caramel malted milkshake which was a really good size. A lot of places don't have malt anymore, so it's great to find a cafe that still has it available for milkshakes. I had a lemon meringue tart for dessert and it was delicious as well. Service was excellent and they took our details for COVID contact tracing if required which was excellent. We'll be back.

Disorganised busy but food was good

Went to 5 little pigs for breakfast on a Friday so was ready for it to be busy. Requested a table but that was going to be 20 mins so got takeaway and walked down the park and ate it. Great bacon and egg rolls - eggs were perfect which is not easy for a B& E roll and the coffee was good so great food. Waited for food and coffee for a little while but the coffee ordering was hap hazard with the barista stopping making coffees to take orders. There was the table guy who appeared every few mins to put people on a list. This meant there were two tables empty for about 5 mins while he bounced around. As all orders were electronic thought it could be a bit slicker Overall great place - if you want a seat be prepared to wait but takeaway is a good alternative

Ended up in this little gem

Ended up in this little gem after arriving at Pilgrims at 2:31pm and being told they shut the kitchen at 2:30pm. Customer focused? As it turned out this was a blessing as the food was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Vege burger was better than Pilgrims, fritters with Trout was outstanding, and the Cauliflower Curry couldn’t be beaten. Top marks!

Good food but be prepared to wait

We ate lunch and breakfast here. I don't think they are open for dinner. The food is very good, especially the fruit breakfast, but I think the kitchen is small and they are quite popular. There is a sign on the way in warning you that if they are busy then you might need to wait 45 minutes. It wasn't that bad, but this is not a fast food joint. The actual service is quite good and they are prepared to tailor your food order.

Had lunch with the family during our stay at Huskisson. We had Pork Belly and Nasi Goereng. The food were nice but couldn't score 5/5 because the serving is too small and doesn't give justice to the price which is a bit expensive. Staff are all nice especially the guy in front who takes the name for waiting list.

My favorite place to eat! Good food, great service, friendly staff - from greetings at the door, to wait staff, to kitchen staff, to baristas. It's a very busy, popular cafe' & I can't fault them. My review today concerns their efforts to maintain an excellent standard of service whilst observing current COVID-19 restrictions and safety standards. From marshaling social distancing & hand sanitizing to cleaning & sanitary practices between patrons within the eating areas this cafe' has a high quality of infection control. 5 Little Pigs would have to be one of the safest places to visit - either takeaway or dine in. This has always been one of my favourite places to eat when visiting Jervis Bay. Great food and friendly staff. When we arrived today all tables were full but the waitress took my phone number and called me when a table became available. Really appreciated the gesture as we had two hungry teenagers in tow!

We were looking for a cafe for a quick lunch after paddle boarding. We arrived at about 3pm, and were told the kitchen had just closed, but they still had croque monsieur's, toasties and anything from the display available. We sat outside across the road from the water and shared a delicious pork belly croque which was seriously delicious, perhaps the best croque monsieur either of us had ever had, and I had a great chai latte and a slice of rocky road. The staff were super friendly and we'd definitely come back next time we're in Husky.

This is by far my favorite cafe in Huskisson. They serve the best food and coffee in the area. Don’t let the amount of people at the front put you off from enquiring about a table as a lot of the people waiting at the front are waiting for takeaway coffees. We managed to get a table right away without having to wait the first time and the second time we waited only 15 minutes. The service from the staff was quick and were extremely friendly. The food was even better. I had the brekky burger and I must say this was one of the best breakfast burgers I have had.. the chili jam is deliciously good! The food was so good that we came here one last time just before we departed Huskisson. I also had their freshly squeezed juices and they tasted so fresh and yummy. Next time I come to Huskisson, I will be coming back here and I’ll be letting my friends and family know to come here as well.

We went here on Wednesday, almost closing time, so we found a seat easily. Family of four with kids under 10. My husband is vegan, he had the eggplant burger. I had the pork belly from the lunch menu, and the kids shared toast, eggs and bacon from their breakfast menu. Delicious. Good service.
