Yesterday I took a friend who is an ex pat living in California to the Huskie Bakery for a pie. The look on her face was priceless as she took that first mouthful. This was followed by a vanilla slice. All the cakes from your childhood are here. Don't go if you are calorie counting. The service is OK with... More

We really enjoyed our food at this cafe/restaurant. We got a sandwich to go for a boat trip snack, then came back for lunch later. Everyone around us had ordered the meat pies, so we ordered a few meat pies as well as the vegetarian quiche and a chocolate milkshake. All the food was delicious. The quiche came with a... More

My husband and I shared a slice of Apple Strudel which was very nice while the others had scones, and a fruit torte. The bakery had a great special with a... More

Dropped in to pick up a few pies for lunch. Great selection of regular and unusual pies on offer, all of which were available at 2pm. Generous, chunky fillings packed full of flavour and a flakey pastry made for a very fulfilling lunch. A recommended source of pies.

Great bacon and egg rolls. Lovely large sausage rolls. A towering potato pie. Huge bacon and egg plate. Fab value in a tourist town.

Food lived up to the reviews. Outside side deck was nice spot to chill off the Main Street. Service was friendly and prices reasonable.
