Really accommodating, excellent food and service. It was raining so they prepared a new table in front of subway next door so we could eat. Highly reccomend as the food and overall experience was great

The stone grill is an upbeat restaurant that can serve meat and fish on a very hot stone where you are the cook. Interesting for sure but the both of us decided to have the kitchen cook our Barramundi. But first we had fresh oysters...which were firm and tasty. Our main was the barramundi fillet with veggies. The fish was cooked perfectly as well as the veggies. Dessert was sticky date pudding which was also very good. By the way it is a BYOB establishment and the bottle shop is about 50 meters down the sidewalk. Staff were superb and very helpful. A great dining experience.More

A wonderful steak. If you’re a meat person and “don’t like ordering steak when out”, you should come to SG and order a steak. Their cuts are delicious. We have been a handful of times and love it. BYO always helps (wine and beer) and...the sticky date pudding is sensational. Sometimes you have to be in and out in an hour or so to allow for a second sitting, sometimes you can take your time. Book in advance - it gets booked out. Our order: garlic cream prawns entree (to share), 2x eye fillet (they’re bigger than 300g) with pasta salad, 1x side of chips, 2x desserts (it’s way too much food and we are good eaters!).More

We had the 3 course meal with the stone grill experience. Starters chilli and garlic prawns cooked to perfection and super yummy. Main course on the stone grill was a fun experience and the staff were really helpful. The steak was amazingly cooked on the...hot stone and was one of the best steaks I have ever had. We were lucky to get a booking for 3 people at pretty much last minute . The staff are super friendly and very efficient . Place runs like a well oiled machine . Boys had 800 gram T bone with veggies they cooked on the...stone . I had eye fillet and we all rated our meal between 9 and 10. The steak just fell apart and was super tender and obviously we got to cook the way we like it , and stayed really hot . It was extremely busy but our lovely waitress still took time to chat with us . A added bonus is BYO your own drinks and if you don’t bring them there is a bottle shop a few doors up . For what it is, a cheery steakhouse, you can't fault this place. We have never had a bad meal here and the staff, mainly younger people, are unfailingly polite and helpful. Last night was no exception. We started with oysters Kilpatrick, delicious plump local oysters....My wife had garlic prawns for a main and I had the signature stone grilled 300gram fillet steak. We couldn't have been happier sharing our two meals. Questions about where the steaks were sourced and how the stones were cleaned were referred back to the kitchen but our servers were soon back with the answers to our questions (which was Sydney and high pressure hoses for those interested). Patrons are encouraged to bring their own wine and the corkage is a modest $3 per table. A pleasant surprise compared to exorbitant wine prices and corkage in capital city restaurants. A really enjoyable meal for around $125. The restaurant was fully booked, I can see why.More

This restaurant is great. The owners greet every customer and makes you feel welcome. The meals were massive and the fact you cook your own steak appealed to me. This is a BYO restaurant which also a good thing to keep the cost of your...night out. I highly recommend this restaurant.More
