For what it is, a cheery steakhouse, you can't fault this place. We have never had a bad meal here and the staff, mainly younger people, are unfailingly polite and helpful.
Last night was no exception. We started with oysters Kilpatrick, delicious plump local oysters....My wife had garlic prawns for a main and I had the signature stone grilled 300gram fillet steak. We couldn't have been happier sharing our two meals. Questions about where the steaks were sourced and how the stones were cleaned were referred back to the kitchen but our servers were soon back with the answers to our questions (which was Sydney and high pressure hoses for those interested).
Patrons are encouraged to bring their own wine and the corkage is a modest $3 per table. A pleasant surprise compared to exorbitant wine prices and corkage in capital city restaurants.
A really enjoyable meal for around $125. The restaurant was fully booked, I can see why.More
