Pleasant, efficient and well set out.

We stopped for Lunch. It has been a few years since last we actually stopped rather than driving through Harden. Terracotta certainly looked promising, and we were not disappointed. The service was the correct mixture of informal, friendly and efficient. A reasonably familiar stype of lunch menu was presnted ot us at the table and we were offered water. Our food and drinks arrived without fuss and took nomore time than one might expect. Ther does seem to be a concetration on all things “Guinness” in the displays or merchandice for sale, and indeed my lunch was a beef and guinness burger. Quite how the irish green and Guineess works wqith the darker reds of ‘terracotta” we are not sure, but this is a pleasant and well set out establishment.

Always a treat

Menu changes regularly regulated by seasonal food and the food is always delicious and hearty. The friendly owners make your dinning experience special, a bit of Irish hospitality. Will definitely return and so glad to see a good business so resilient during Covid.

Great food and service

We decided to have a day trip from Canberra to Harden to check out the painted silo. We came to Terracotta for lunch and are very pleased that we did. I had the seafood pancake special which was really nice. My companions had a variety of other items from the menu and were all very pleased. The service was very friendly and efficient. (They even helped with a bit of Geocaching.) I will certainly make sure that Terracotta is a regular location for a lunch stop in the future.

Delicious food

Great service. Good variety on menu. Recommend kids homemade chicken nuggets and lovely crunchy chips, pesto and prosciutto melt and prawn and avocado salad. Yummy banana thick shake too. Irish theme around the walks of this historic store. Owner used to live where we do now so had a good chat listening to what she recalls of the area.

Delicicious food and service

This was my fourth visit to Terracotta. My son and I were having a brief holiday together, and it was his second visit. Harden-Murrumburrah is a fascinating town group and very worthwhile visiting. The Terracotta Restaurant turns on first-class food every time. The service including the rapidity of service could not be faulted. We were made to feel welcome. My son had gnocchi, which he found delicious; my chicken dish was superb. We had no dessert since we were so satisfied with those courses, but there were several good things on offer. The Terracotta is an excellent reason to visit that whole area.

Best in Harden

Everything else was closed. It seemed a trifle expensive for what we had on the night. Two Mains and one beer $90.00. Small pork chop with a nice sauce, mashed potato , carrot and greens. Small steak with the same veggies.

Excellent Lunch stop

Had a day trip to Coota from Yass called in here for lunch. Husband had seafood crepe and I had mango prawn avo salad both were really good. The service is excellent. We have been here a few times and will continue to in the future. Always worth a visit.

Worth it just for the Cheesecske

About six different versions of cheesecske. Had the caramel and it was wonderful along with the fresh cream and ice cream. Very laid back old style cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.

Clean, spacious

We had just been to the Honey shop next door and with Mick at the counter the entertainment was constant. His Irish humour was whip smart and we laughed most of the time we were there for coffee and cake.

We were told of this "Irish" place in Harden and almost missed it but we're glad we didn't. Food was good, great coffee. Good friendly service. We'd definitely visit again.

Fabulous food - off the beaten track

We had a fantastic dinner here at Terracotta. Very grateful to the hosts for fitting us in on a busy night. Delighted with the food, beautifully balanced flavours and the best chips ever!!

Good atmosphere & tasty food

Stopped for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The place was full but the service was efficient and it wasn't long before we had our meals. The waitress understood the requirements for coeliacs and we had a really enjoyable meal.

LITTLE GEM

Have passed through this town on way to Griffith a few times and have always found the food good and staff and service very efficient and friendly. Had the Guinness burger and steak sandwich with the special chips for lunch. All very tasty. Have also been there for dinner. Would recommend this little gem for anyone passing through.
