About
Getting back to the true roots of regional Italian food. Our ever changing seasonal menu is based on true regional Italian dishes using local produce from our wonderful farmers and producers. We don't reinvent the wheel, and our food is not modern - we are bringing back and keeping alive the old recipes which are being forgotten. We also producers of the Riverina's only dried artisan pasta made with 100% local semolina. Ciao!

Lovely night eating seriously good Italian food and listening to a talented young musician reinterpreting some of our favourite music. Highly recommend the broad bean and silverbeet saltate and the tortiglioni with ragu si carne. This place has a great ambiance to enhance the food...experience.More

Again this top-notch restaurant highly recommended by the locals, and well attended by them as well should be on your list for dining in Griffith. A great lunch menu with Italian flair!

Quick lunch on a cool winters day. We had the minestrone & insalata of raddicio, sweet potato, beetroot, brown rice all blended beautifully in a dressing- perfecto. Both soup & salad were generous sizes & hit the spot! Staff were attentive & all covid safe.

Have just had the nicest lunch at Zecca. Its located in an atmospheric old building on a corner of Banna Ave. From reading the menu, the ingredients are seasonable. Each chose a pasta dish- ragu of meat & broccoli, chili & garlic, together with a...salad of green leaves. The rose wine from Yarran was good too. I like the sourcing of local produce. Generous portions unfortunately left no room for dessert. The staff are so welcoming, knowledgable & attentive; they made our dining experience really pleasurable. There is also a selection of their dried pastas, sauces, relishes, nuts & Italian Cookbooks for sale too. Really enjoyed everything about Zecca!More

While the food was ok, the prices were very high and portions were tiny. I get that the costs of the farm-to-table concept can be high and I certainly don’t mind paying for good food... but this place did not make it feel worth it....Instead of a planned long lunch, my party left after mains and opted for one of Griffith’s many great cafes for coffee and dessert.More

We dined here as a special night out. The Murray Cod was outstanding! The establishment looks very new and we were not disappointed.

The food tonight was first rate. We shared plates lamb and local Murray Cod. The cod was perfectly cooked .Only thing was we should have orders some sides. Only real frustration was trying to book. Be prepared to ring a few times. I never did...get a return call. Maybe it was just a bad day. Enjoyed the Italian craft beer.More

It’s been so long since tuning out but it was delicious to enjoy not only great food but fabulous service from all the staff in a beautiful setting. My porchetta was cooked to perfection with a lovely hint of chilli.

The highlight of lunch is reading the blurb about the raison d'etre of the business and the ethos behind the methods. All food is sourced locally. Quality is high. The menu is wide enough (and possibly being added to all the time). The setting is...excellent (former bank branch in Banna Ave). The owners are clearly keen to do the right thing by their customers, their community and their planet. These guys deserve success.More

Lunched with 3 friends on Saturday 23rd. We all enjoyed a large antipasto as an entre. Then the Tagliatelle ragu Bianco. All washed down with the Calabria Montepulcciano - an excellent wine. Thoroughly recommend Zecca. Ambience is excellent and the service very good. A very...good selection of dry pasta to purchase to take home.More

I'm not sure what time they close. I went fairly early in the evening and stayed until about 10. People were still there and it didn't seem as if they would pack up while they had customers.

The barrel seating is fine but certainly a table with a chair would be more comfortable.
