In fairness the food is quite good but one of my pet hates is when 1 or more members of your small party (5 on this occasion) do not get their meals at the same time as everyone else. Happened with both courses and is...a major league service fail in my view.More
We had a booking but didn’t get a call to say eftpos down so had to go to pub next door to get cash out (for a fee). Young waitress was lovely. Food was very average, garlic bread looked like homebrand supermarket, meals were not...that good, teenagers hardly ate the spaghetti bolognese. Decor in restaurant is pretty drab and not much atmosphere.More
We were greeted when we arrived with ‘name’ after stating my name the waitress pointed to our table in the middle of the restaurant and we seated ourselves. We had no menus and waited 15 minutes before seeing someone. We asked for table water and...menus. Another 15 minutes before orders were taken. We ordered entree and mains and drinks. Had to ask for table water again. 20 minutes later our drinks appeared with one missing. No food yet. Entrees arrived and they were cold! Still no garlic and cheese pizza. Asked a waiter to check on it and he didn’t return to tell us about the status of it. 15 minutes laster it turned up- burnt and like cardboard. I had to go to front counter to get drinks and water as did many other customers. The waitress was rude, no one cleared our tables, asked how everything was or came anywhere near us. The cruncher was when the mineral water we ordered was bought to the table in the plastic bottle, lid on and no glasses and when it was to share! Still no mains. We were there a little over 2 hours! We gave up and left as did many others without their meals! The staff there need to learn how to serve customers and clear tables, serve drinks and the chefs need to get food out in time so it isn’t cold when served. We will not be back!More
I came in with 12 other family members and friends for dinner and was pretty disappointed with the service and the food. We were seated on a table in a very tight space where the waiters couldn’t even come around it. When we were seated...we noticed that the plates on the table were dirty , we had to return them and ask for clean plates. We were asked to text through our order before coming into the restaurant. We waited quite a while for our order to come out and when it did they got our order wrong. The food was horrible. We weren’t happy at all. I’m not one to write reviews but this needed to be done.More
Bought takeaway pizzas on a weekday night. Got reasonable amount of toppings with right amount of pizza sauce on very ordinary Domino, McCain like bases. I d say they have the same supplier as Dominos or when you order late or at a bad time,...they pull some crap pizza bases out the Freezer and dump them on unsuspecting customer.More
Found this Italian restaurant on Trip Advisor - what a find! We recently moved to the Central Coast and this will be one of our regular destinations for dinner. Great food, wonderful service and nice environment. Extensive menu means we will be able to try...something different for a long time. I am glad I didn't pay attention to the negative reviews.More
Have always enjoyed our dinners at Michaels in the past, but tonight was an absolute schemozzle.
Restaurant was a smidge over half full, the two girls waiting seemed to be new, or at the very least inexperienced. They didnt move around the restaurant looking to...help and seemed to stay at the front desk chatting for most of our time.
As we walked in, what I thought to be a rather rude customer asking if it was possible to get a beer ordered, little were we to know that was going to be our experience too and he wasnt being rude, just frustrated.
We waited about 5 minutes to place our order - not too bad, but that was the end of the "good service".
We ordered 3 Bruchetttas and 3 mains, a beer, wine and lemonade.
About 10 minutes later the beer and wine arrived... another 5 minutes the table water, then another minute or five for my lemonade.
At approximately 50 minutes after ordering and not seeing a lot of food exiting the kitchen, I wandered up to enquire on our Bruchetta - yes, a tomato, an onion, bit of basil and a toasted slice of turkish bread... it hadnt even been started. So we were potentially going to have to wait at least an hour for bloody bruchetta, lord knows how long the pasta and veal mains would have taken!
We decided to leave, the "chef" informed me that the Bruchetta was about to be started, I mentioned that the wait was intolerable and to can the lot - we walked out. On the rather dissapointed drive home, I did suggest the could have thrown us a tomato and an onion as a deconstructed Bruchetta and we could have made it ourselves!
Sadly, we wont be returning.More
