Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were hungry after a long drive when we arrived in Coolah. Everything else seemed to be closed in this little town, then we saw the bakery. It is very clean and has an air-conditioned dining room attached. Several other travellers were also enjoying the freshly prepared food. We ordered salad and meat on a plate which was quickly prepared and very enjoyable. There is also a coffee machine and our coffees were OK too. It was good to be able to sit in the dining room on a very warm day. Definitely recommend.

We stopped here on our way north for a long weekend, looking for lunch on a cold & rainy Friday. A bit late for lunch there was not a full selection of hot pies but we were very satisfied with what we did choose - good pastry and tasty fillings. On impulse we tried a couple of cakes because they looked lovely - so good! We tried carrot cake and gluten free orange and almond cake. The cakes were so good that we made a point of stopping for morning coffee and cake (it being unfortunately too early for lunch) on our return journey.

We arrived in time for morning coffee. The staff were very friendly and we obtained directions to get to Tamworth. The coffee was great as was the citrus tart I ate for morning tea. It was great to come across a pretty outback town and to support the local community. We needed to use the restrooms that were located at the rear of the library and we found them to be good and clean.

We stopped here to buy a vanilla slice each but they only had one that was very dry so we settled on a piece of cheesecake instead which was nice. Not a lot to choose from in the cabinets but this maybe due to COVID-19, so will give them the benefit of the doubt. Will call again in better times.

We recently visited the bakery on our way south. Unfortunately we left behind a shoulder bag, not discovered until 3 hours later. The staff went out of their way to give it back to us on our return journey. We are so grateful. The food is great too. Thanks for good country hospitality.

On entering the bakery, it was a nice, open venue, clean, tidy, with tables and chairs and a steady stream of customers. For your typical bakery, lots of very nice looking pastries, cakes and tarts that actually looked very appealing. The child had a pork sausage roll - as always these things are salty for me, but child loved it. I had the carrot cake which for a bakery cake, was okay and thank goodness the icing wasn't overly sweet or grainy. Coffees were very strong - Vittoria Coffee - but unfortunately not my favourite roast.

Not the first time I've been to Coolah Bakery on my travels south and unlikely to be my last. All sweet tooths catered for, pretty good coffee and young, friendly staff happy to have a chat about their town when time permits.

It's prices are higher then anywhere else and they don't even make any of their food there , they get it from Dunedoo bakery. Unreasonable prices for small quantities and food is average.

A great place to stop and revive. Good pies and cakes and coffee is also very nice. The town of Coolah is a really nice little Aussie country town.

Very friendly staff, good coffee and the home made salad rolls and focacias are delicious. Oh and not to mention the GF orange poppy seed friands and the custard tarts!
