Meals are served long times apart at the same table. At least an hour today My mums 76th birthday lunch & some had finished eating while others waited for a long time before meals arrived. This time I requested food to be held back until...everything was ready I was told it’s not possible due to the ordering system & the faster food would be cold if we did that. Disappointing as the food is amazing, the staff great & as a local love the venue. We won’t be taking friends there till we hear the serving system has changed.More

Stayed two nights in a spacious room (30) with two queen beds, decent furniture and renovated bathroom. The rooms are set back from the road allowing for a quiet stay. The Inn is a good option for dinner (bistro style) or breakfast and expenses can...be charged back to the room, though there is no room service as such. A car is definitely needed here as there is little else within walking distance aside from a service station.More

My first time here. Was catching up with life long friends and it was a two hour drive for me to get there. We stayed the night. Accomodation was really good, very stylist rooms and very clean. Dined at the pub and all meals served...where very much enjoyed. We have breakfast also the following day and the serving sizes are massive and very delicious. Cocktails are great but take a little while to be served but the night we visited it was a full house with many others ordering cocktails so the wait was wardened. Would visit again.More

It was Easter Monday and yes quite busy, but, after waiting over an hour, a cold cobbler starter and only three of our five meals arrived. These were nearly finished and the other two still hadnt arrived. I complained to a staffer who disappeared and...didnt come back.. Several mins later i asked for the manager to be told the meals were coming. When they finally arrived everyone else had finished and because wed been sitting for so long we ate hastily to get out of there..my first and last time there.More

Third time visiting the newly refurbished pub. Third bad experience. Never going back. Cold wings, burnt burger and the coldest, soggiest, mushiest fish and chips. INEDIBLE! It's a wonder how a pub can screw up basic fish and chips.......left hungry! Also, wanted to order a...bottle of sauvignon blanc which was listed on the drinks menu. Was told it was only available in a carafe. Bottles of what I wanted order clearly visible in the fridge???More

After being served a tough rump steak with a baked potato with the merest smear of sour cream, I was somewhat surprised to be treated to a mini lecture on how rump was a “lean” cut and therefore I might not like a replacement rump....I said I had been eating rump steak for decades and what I was served was tough and not nice. I was then told that the potato had sour cream, just “not as much as I wanted”. Well yes, a decent blob of sour cream was something I assume all people would like who ordered it. It’s why you order it isn’t it? With great trepidation I awaited my “lean” (was this a euphemism for tough I wondered) second serving of rump. Fortunately it was not tough (decent rump rarely is actually), it was delicious and much better without the half gallon of overly strong sauce all over it. Mum had a jolly decent pie and didn’t have to pull a Karen about it. First visit back in a while, we used to come weekend. Impressed With the ambiance, not impressed with the food, less impressed with the attitude. Clearly at the Camden Inn the customer is not right.More

We had dinner here last night. I ordered the scotch fillet and my partner got the avo and bacon salad. My steak arrived 8 mins before his did. I waited and started eating, the veggies were cold and the steak was quite fatty. When his...meal came out he couldn’t cut or eat the chicken, it was like it had been cooked and reheated. I told the waiter of our meal and it was like he wasn’t interested Such a beautiful busy pub with beautiful gardens and such a picturesque setting. Obviously they aren’t interested in improving the quality of dishesMore

We came here for a simple couples night... my wifes 8 months pregnant and my mother is in ICU at Campbelltown Hospital... to say we desperately needed a fun and cruisey night is an understatement... Initially we found the facilities and views to be breathraking......but then we met the staff: - No one checked we signed in via the COVID-19 safe app. - I got given a $16 cocktail (old fashioned) that was about 95% sugar syrup, 4% booze and ,1% orange wedge. When I asked for a proper old fashioned (alcohol, dash of bitter and a dash of sugar syrup), i had to pay a further $11 to fix it? - One of the meals came out, but my wife had to wait 50 mins for hers to arrive... not sure if uve seen a hungry pregnant woman before but it is terrifying... - No apology or accountability and just a generally shocking attitude with all of the staff we met. Id happily come back if someone took some accountability and delivered proper cocktails and customer serviceMore
