How does an Italian Restaurant run out of garlic bread and veal when a booking for 12 people was made 5 days prior. We certainly gave them enough notice. Toilets are in desperate need of a make over. No toilet paper in the ladies toilet...even though it was mentioned to them. Pasta dishes very over priced for the size of the portion. Staff were friendly. Not so sure I would dine there again.More

It wasn’t as bad as the negative reviews portray this place. We were greeted nicely and shown to our table. We opted for the dining instead of the pizza section. It was my wedding anniversary on a Tuesday night. The restaurant had a few tables...taken with various range of people. We had some garlic bread to start as we decided what to eat. For entree we chose the garlic king prawns which we shared. They were very nice with not a too over powering garlic flavour. The kids we chose the macaroni to share and they bought it our early for the kids but unfortunately both didn’t like. I thought it was fine. We put that in a takeout container for my lunch the next day. We then ordered the Chicken schnitzel and chips for the kids. On cutting it up I new it would be chewy as it was hard to cut and was very stringy. But kids thought the same as chewy and opted just to eat the chips. I had to eat the chicken lucky there was lemon to soak it in. For main I had the lamb shank which was average it was tender but lacked some flavour. My wife had the Fettuccine Pescatora which she said was nice but very hard to eat. (What would you expect with a crab leg with pasta) We had 2 desserts which we shared. My son chose a chocolate soufflé which was ok and my wife chose Baci kiss which I thought was the better of the two. They were very pleasant at the restaurant and would go again if the time came.More

We visited enzos at Camden as a family group of 6. I thought it odd the lack of familiar faces and the emptiness of the entire restaurant on what is normally a busy night from past experiences. But soon found out why it’s so empty....The food was absolutely awful! Where do I even start? The Greek salad normally huge and a crowd pleaser for my large family came out in a small soup bowl! Enough for 1 person yet still the same price. And that classic salad dressing- no longer! Steak Dianne- steak was like grizzle, couldn’t even chew it and sent it back only to find the next piece even worse. Inedible! I could not chew it at all. All of the side vegetables of carrot zucchini and potatoes undercooked and hard. Garlic bread soaked in oil. My dad had the bolognaise- I instantly could see there was a problem! Watery no depth or colour no flavour and no way was it a slow cooked Ragu no flavour at all and watery. My sons had the chicken snitzel; looked like a pub meal and also over cooked. Chips were not handmade but were the type you bought from Cole’s in the freezer section. Overcooked seafood in the seafood marinara. We paid $250 for the worse experience we have ever had at enzos. As I walked out I asked where the old owner was- I was then advised he sold up and all the staff left at that stage. Seriously what a shame. A great restaurant no longer. We will never return.More

What a restaurant!! So accommodating. Nicest people ever. We had a a friends kitchen tea next door but were outside in the rain. The restaurant manager for Enzos took our whole party in and was soooo accommodating.

Garlic bread was just buttered toast, couldn’t taste the garlic. Salt and pepper calamari was tasteless. The lamb shank was nice, it fell off the bone but unfortunately I think half of it had fallen off while it was being cooked as there was very...little meat. Pizza and pasta was good but felt a bit ripped off being charged $17 for each of the small jugs of soft drink. Overall, quite expensive for an average family meal in a shopping centre.More

This used to be Camden’s best restaurant where the food and service were consistently good. Sadly this is no longer the case. The food was just ok, the service was pathetic. We dined on a Thursday night, only about 6 tables occupied so it was...not busy. We had reasonable service early in the evening . The majority of the staff appeared untrained, not their fault perhaps but not ideal. After initially being rushed to order we were then ignored and had to request our table be cleared, ask for the dessert menu, ask for the bill. One waitress spent about 15 mins chatting to guests at one table, completely oblivious to other diners. All other staff were missing. Hospitality has suffered greatly as a result of Covid and maybe staff have left the industry but please bring young staff up to some standard for their sakes and that of your business. I won’t be back.More

Orders taken quickly, entrees brought out separately one at a time ( 2 people dining ). Portion sizes shrinking but prices are not. Seems to be understaffed and hectic. Fine dining? I don't think so.

Definitely not fine dining. Wanted to spoil ourselves for wedding anniversary but was left deflated and disappointed. Service was slow, food took over an hour to come out and the meal was terrible. Won’t be going back or recommending to anyone

We have been regulars at Enzos for the last 20 years and were quite taken aback with the service and quality of food. Perhaps, in the past the patrons were spoilt by Thierry and his team but the current friendliness is without warmth---just a generic...smile. Had the food been up to its usual standard, the above would not have mattered.More

We visited here for our wedding anniversary. It was to be a special dinner - but we were quite disappointed. After finding delicious sounding meals on the menu we went to place our order - at which point we were offered specials (not sure why...these were not presented when we were provided with menus?) - this felt sloppy. The gnocchi-based specials did sound wonderful, and we both changed our decisions and went ‘off menu’ and ordered the gnocchi specials (different versions) - a burned butter and sage gnocchi and a Gorgonzola cheese and peppercorn gnocchi. The burned butter and sage was delivered as a very small portions, we said nothing but they immediately offered an apology for the size of the serving and said they were already preparing more gnocchi to compete the serving? We were confounded - why deliver the dish if it was incomplete? Regardeless - we tucked in expecting the ‘top up’ to arrive soon enough. We both finished and the additional gnocchi had not turned up. When we asked, they went and checked, and reported it had had been delivered it to another table. They apologised and made some more, but we were effectively finished. Then there was the food itself...the lightly pan fried gnocchi was more like mashed potato than gnocchi. The Gorgonzola gnocchi had no hint of Gorgonzola cheese, plenty of peppercorn, and a huge volume of mushroom? At least it was a full sized serving but again - the gnocchi resembled mashed potato rather than gnocchi. It was a bland meal, as was the burned butter and sage. Service was again sloppy and disappointing when we attempted to pay. Staff directed us to the payment terminal, where staff then constantly bustled past us and ignored us...two asked if we would like to pay...but did not assist or take our payment. One staff member even came and used the payment terminal for some time, ignoring us, then turned and asked if we wanted to pay - which we did - at which point she left the terminal? Eventually a gentleman came and processed our payment. Overall, it was an unfortunate experience.More

The food was magnificent, the service excellent considering the restrictions because of COVID - the wine list is excellent! It is hard to see the government supporting business but restaurants seem to have been forgotten! A great evening!

As a volunteers at Camden Meals on Wheels my wife and I were rewarded with a meal voucher for Enzos. We booked For Thursday Feb 27th. We were well seated and given excellent attention. Wines were not off the planet in fact quite reasonable. We...enjoyed two fabulous meals and continued excellent service during the evening. The end bill was a bit under $145 for two courses each...but considering the meals we had was pretty terrific... definitely will be back .More

We had not been to Enzos in years, but were so excited to return. We knew from the minute we walked in Thierry had sold the place...cant explain it, just the love had gone from the place ajd definitely the class...if i wrote down all...the things that were wrong with our evening it would take all night..but the final straw was the waitress arguing with a waiter right behind my husband ..dont blame you for retiring Thierry, you deserve it.. But my lovely memories of this place are just that now..More

Back again for a wonderful meal. We have a had several meals at Enzo's, and have had exceptional meals each time. This time was a Birthday celebration and perfect for a memorable meal. We started with the Burrata con Culatello, which was excellent. This time...I had the veal topped with prawns, mushrooms and a Napolitana, cream and brandy sauce. So tasty!More
