Let me start off by saying wow, what an amazing experience. Me and my partner came in today 21/12/2024 and we were immediately greeted by a friendly staff member who took us to our table, we got to browsing the menu and saw that they had a lot of different burgers and vegetarian burgers, my partner ordered the vegetarian chicken burger, I ordered the slow cooked brisket burger, we also ordered some fries and two sauces to help with the chips, everything came very fast in under 15 mins whilst it being at an okay level of busy. Let. Me. Tell. You. This burger was awesome it is one of the best burgers I had ever tasted in a very long time, my partners burger also was extremely tasty and even the chips themselves at first we were a bit unsure since the chips didn’t come with the burgers as a default but for $9 the chip serving was quite large for two people so I feel it got the money worth out of the chips, my burger was succulent and tasty, the brisket was juicy and tender and everything else on the burger just went hand in hand with the brisket and carried it to the finish line of perfection, my partners burger I expected it to be a regular run of the mill vegetarian burger but my god, the fake chicken schnitzel was amazing and all the other condiments on that burger just had so many different flavours that just improved the burger that much more. I also found out at the end of the meal that the sauces are all vegan which was even better as the sauces didn’t even taste any different! For all of the food we ordered today it cost us $71 although it being high priced I think the experience and the food was well worth it. I would 100% pay that price again if i could get that same exact experience. I would strongly recommend this place if you want a fast feed on the Main Street of Byron which is at a decent price point. I would rate more than 5 stars but I can’t so my words today hopefully carry it higher!

Holy.. moly... This is by far one of my favourite restaurants in Byron. Byron bay can be hard to find a meal, a lot of the time the cafes and restaurants can be inconsistent and change their service and quality frequently, but I have been visiting Main Street since they opened and let me just tell you this place only gets better, from the amazing milkshakes (Vegan options too) to the delightful Burgers, along with the amazing service it’s really just an amazing place to eat. The venue is huge, great for a group of friends and the prices are extraordinarily cheap AND they use all local produce. Honestly having a Bettys Burgers around the corner is a joke, the burgers are more expensive and taste like plastic compared to these ones.. not to mention they are super basic, makes the people eating there just look simply dumb.. anyways, 10/10 guys keep it up !!

Superb service, superb burgers. Tasty, fresh and delivered fast without fuss. Will be back next time we are in town! We came as a small family around 7pm on a Wednesday in the school holidays. Good crowd inside but not too noisy. Table service was prompt. Food was made fresh on order - can see right into the kitchen, nothing to hide! We ordered burgers and chips. All tasted delicious. Good work!

Wanted an easy takeaway option for dinner tonight and had tried most of the other burger options in the area, so decided to try this place out. I ordered the beef burger and upon opening the box, it looked like a delicious, well-cooked burger. It had a seeded bun and did not look sloppy or greasy like a few of the other burgers I’ve had in Byron.
However, the burger itself tasted quite average, which was a real shame. It was also on the more dearer side at $17 for this burger so I was expecting a bit more flavour. Perhaps I need to try the other options on the menu; possibly will do on my next visit.

Service was friendly if a little slow. The onion rings with aioli were absolutely delicious. Sadly, the burgers were disappointing. I had an $18 beef burger, and it literally had the thinnest, driest beef patty I’ve ever had. Honestly, I’ve had better burgers at McDonalds. For 18 bucks (burger only), I expected a beautiful thick, juicy patty. Sadly it wasn’t the case. Overall it was an ok experience, but we wouldn’t go back.

The burgers here leave Maccas for dead. Reasonably priced our 3 grandkids and four adults filled up for $120. Quality burgers and reasonable drinks prices. Kids loved it as did we. A great variety of burgers. Highly recommended.

We love a Main Street Burger because they are always made with love and you know what you are going to get. The crew are cool and there is an outdoor area where you can sit with your dog. The drinks menu is decent and it’s an all round good vibe every time 👌

The restaurant has a couple of bistro tables outdoors but more seating inside. We choose to sit outside and had excellent service. The burgers were tasty. The featured burger was giving the profits to a charity.
I would go back.

My first time ever writing a review but thought the service was awful. I have been travelling around Australia and never had service like it. waitress spent more time talking and flirting with her friends to even notice we never got our drinks even after we finished our food. Also the Burgers were already made and not made to order. No point in being table service.

I went there with my family of 5 and we had an amazing time. I tried jackfruit for the first time expecting it to be average, but it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! I also tried the pulled pork burger which was equally as delicious. The chips were scrumptious and the milkshakes were super creamy! Would recommend for sure!

We visited Main Street 3 times in 2 weeks, this should speak by itself... We love the friendly staff, the quick, but relaxed service, and the burgers are delicious. In particular, as vegetarian, we love the vegetarian options, we tried them all and they are all super good. And beer / drink choice is excellent.

Delicious (!) burgers - both veggie and meat options.
Sweet potato fries and aioli super tasty and a very decent sized portion.
Not the cheapest burgers in town but well worth the money.
Homemade soda delicious but felt overpriced (especially at happy hour when wine/beer was $2 less - would be great to include soft drinks in that $5 promotion for those who don’t drink).
Friendly service.

Went for an early Sunday night dinner. Place was busy. A good range of burgers with optional sides, a small but adequate range of drinks. All in all, okay for a quick bite that tastes good.

What to say,
Burgers are great, fresh ingredients. Cooked medium rare. Great buns and great staff.
Just give a little more fries with the 5$ charge, that's all I'd say.
So do yourself a favour, if you're after a burger, go here

We had an enjoyable dinner at Main St Burger Bar. The restaurant was busy but we managed to grab one of the few remaining tables which was outside. Couldn't fault anything about the meal, burgers, chips and drinks were all delicious. One of the highlights of our trip. Definitely recommended!
