We met one of the staff from this place on our Gorge Walk on North Stradbroke Island & said we would look him up when we got to Byron Bay, which we did. It is one of the better up market restaurants in Byron. Its...More

My father mother and fiance ate at cicchetti early in the year. We asked for advice on ordering and by our main courses we could not eat any more. Our dining experience was long winded over 2.5 hours. We notified the waiter of our wait...More

The atmosphere and décor here are great. Not too cramped in, with a nice bar area. The entrees are the stand out each time we eat here. This time we had smoked burrata which was melt in your mouth delicious. The slat and pepper calamari...More

Very busy but we got a seat at the bar and eat great Italian foodin a fun atmosphere. Typical high Byron prices but worth it, shame it is about to close for a building redevelopment.

We loved everything we ate but the tiramisu was splendid. Good wine list and not too expensive. Discrete service and nice to have live music

Food: We ordered the focaccia and porchetta for our appetizers and both were excellent. The bread was warm and buttery and the balsamic reduction that came with it was gooey and delicious. The porchetta was also great, especially when you got a bite that combined...More

We went for dinner on Monday at 6:45. The restaurant was only about half full but still the noise level was such that we could not carry on a conversation without raising our voices. I would not recommend it for a romantic or intimate dinner....More

Pappardelle ragu, succulent sirloin on a bed of wild rocket, lightly dressed with balsamic and truffle oils, vegetarian style lasagne with green beans all rounded off with a glass of Cabernet merlot. This makes for a memorable meal while in Byron Bay. All wholesome and...More

A nice restaurant which is stylish in its presentation and managed well. The menu options are presented well and priced economically. The standard of meals are nice without being spectacular.

Description
This place is temporarily closed due to renovation. It will reopen in early 2018.

Cicchetti is Byron Bay's gateway to Venice. The modern Italian restaurant takes its name from the Italian meaning of 'tapas' and serves up exquisite cuisine that combines traditional with contemporary. The atmosphere complements the quality of the cuisine, and the bar features an extensive wine list to perfectly match each dish.
