We enjoyed Kinoko twice when in Byron recently. A modern take on Japanese classics. Tasty and fairly standard Byron pricing. They accomodated kids well.
We had takeaway as the restaurant was busy. Staff expected us to take from the transit when we wanted to order a main meal. After much confusion we ordered. We quick to be made - 15 minutes.
Portion size was fine but the quality was...pretty terrible. Not well cooked or presented. Might be different if you eat in - was very expensive takeaway and the children ended up leaving their meals in favour of fruit!More
Very limited menu and limited options on the train. Good location in centre of byron, what we did have was very fresh and yummy. Kitchen closes very early which is disappointing in byron which has such an amazing nightlife
The most bizarre Japanes restaurant I have ever visited.
Travelled all throughout the world and never meet a manger that puts food on a sushi train thatbcould gave travelled from Bryon Bay to Tokyo - round and round the crab sushi went all night.
Patrons...sat there all night memorised by food they did not want to eat, finally after the 8pm call for ni food to be ordered- tasty food suddenly appeared.
212 dollars later and thrusting for Maccies I left pissed off.
Don't go there!More
Food was great, staff was awesome very polite and helpful, made sure we were happy and asked if we needed anything. Only reason for no 5 star review was it’s just a bit expensive but the quality of the food is awesome.
Good service and that is the only reason I have given it 2 stars. The choice was very limited and was overcharged on the sake - and I beginning to think that mask wearing for staff is just a notion not required under the public...health orderMore
Food was okay, bit over priced. More of a concern is that they don’t seem to be checking anyone’s vax status. We showed ours and were waived away. Not sure I’d bring my kids again as there’s no COViD plan in place. The Japanese place...up the road is better.More
Very nice sushi train restaurant. The fish is fresh and the service is good.
The menu “a la carte” is not huge but still present a good choice of dishes.
