We ate here last night based on a recommendation. We ordered vegetarian spring rolls for entree and well that's where it started. They were oily and had some brown noodle concoction inside. Awful. Never thought you could stuff up spring rolls really. Then the mains. The Penang beef was fatty and flavourless. I think a supermarket ready made sauce would... More

Went there with my partner and his room mate last week for dinner, being new to the area and loving Thai my partner wanted to take me to a beautiful Thai restaurant, we ended up there, and I was very pleased we did, the food was delicious, we had the spring rolls both ways, the calamari, that was very tender,... We dined here last night thinking Thai would have to be a good choice for us as we eat it at least twice a week - what a disappointment - not sure who is cooking the food but the rice wa so gluggy it fell out in one big lump, the seafood curry was full of potato and extremely bland... More

We ordered several dishes and were very disappointed, the food was burnt very little amounts and tasteless, the vegetable dish was tasteless and looked as though scraps of vegetable cuttings were used - I would not recommend this restaurant, $100 for four small inedible dishes, were I read outstanding reviews after an average to poor review I find this inconsistent... Good choice of menu, lovely food and prompt service. Located in the town centre but small enough not to be very noisy. Recommend

Five of us dined here. The chicken satay was tasty. Spring rolls were great. The mains were substantial and were both fresh and tasty. Service was very good. Friendly staff.

Both of our main courses were quite dull and just not tasty at all. Not sure if cook is experienced with cooking thai food. It also took quite a while until we got our food. Can't recommend.

Came here with my family on my birthday, and had the green curry. Got to say it was one of the best curries I have ever had with all the fresh flavours. It was like just being in Thailand. The place took me and my family on an adventure. The chefs seem like they have a lot of talent and... More

We ordered takeaway from this restaurant. The chilli and basil stir fry was inedible - burnt beyond repair - we even tried straining it through a colander. The only reason we didn't return to replace it was because our 6 week old baby was too unsettled. The Thai green curry was bland and lacklustre. I've lived in Thailand for 7years... More

The folks at Traditional Thai were lifesavers! We were starving having waited an hour at another restaurant only to be told the kitchen was closed and had difficulty finding another open restaurant in town. Traditional Thai kept the kitchen open for us and served up a delicious meal!!!
