Sensational Steaks!

On our most recent visit to Byron this restaurant provided us with the best overall dining experience. A large wonderfully modern & tastefully decorated venue with a beautiful ambiance. Huge bar for seating with a nice selection of cocktails & spirits. The dining menu is...quite extensive so there’s a meal for everybody. The service from the all the staff was attentive, courteous & very professional. Our steaks were sensational! Cooked to perfection in the Josper charcoal grill oven. The 250g scotch fillet & the 350g scotch fillet waygu were absolutely flavoursome & juicy. These main steak dishes were nice size servings which included vegetables & sauce. We also had entree’s of garlic seared king prawns & garlic caramelised scallops which were cleaned up very quickly as they too were delicious. The cocktails we had, Byron 75 & Passionfruit Sour were also perfectly made & tasted lovely. We were so full after the steaks that we couldn’t fit in dessert, which is quite rare for us at top class dining restaurants in Byron. This place is not cheap, but, I honestly believe it’s great value for the money spent. A fantastic dining experience. I’ll be recommending this place to all my friends. This’ll be our first stop when we’re next in Byron. Can’t wait to try more of the other dishes prepared in the Josper!More

Last minute decision to BOOK.

Last minute decision to BOOK. Told if we can be there ASAP we’d be ok. Sure enough (arrived at 5.45pm), no problem. Huge menu choice, lovely service & great steak - which we were craving. If you are after a decent meal, good value without...the Byron frills & hype, this is the placeMore

Great food

We really loved the lamb and steak. We also had the Balmain big and scallops for entree. The food took a little bit of time to be served. But the staff were always pleasant, attentive and empathetic.

Absolutely fantastic, so good!

Absolutely fantastic, so good we went back a 2nd night in a row on our holiday! We ate lamb, beef cheeks, beetroot salad, even the breads were delicious!

Zero rating

If zero was an option it would be. First walked in, experience was ruined by the arrogant and bombastic boss who just stood there counting his cash. Told us to wait for 5 mins while he continued counting the cash out of the registers. We...looked around, there were empty tables and a few more set of customers had finished and left. Waited at the side patiently for 10mins, when a big group (6-7 people) came in, he served them first, ignored and left us on the edge and gave them a table while telling us to wait for 20 mins. Disgraceful we left. The two other men behind us waited had also left and we all went to opposite the road (Jonsons Restaurant & Bar) with fantastic service (no bookings require) and excellent food. We guessed it's God send that we did not ended up in "Beef and Beach" after looking at the reviews with burnt steak and bad service. Not recommended.More

Disappointing

Divine Food

We came for dinner here in Dec 2020, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken parmy which was beautiful and my friend had the rump steak, which was absolutely divine and cooked to perfection. We also shared the chocolate tart for dessert which...was also beautiful. We will definitely be back next time.More

Visited Beef and Beach in Byron for my partners birthday. Menu seemed decent so made the assumption it was a decent restaurant. When we did get to order, the food was decent, however the night was marred by the terrible service, particularly when it came...to attentiveness to drink service or top ups. For the price, I expected far better.More

Pleased to meet you with meat

Pleased to meet you with meat to please you. Awesome friendly staff and quick service, the kids meal came out within 10 minutes. The steaks, well what can one say. Huge and cooked perfectly.

Poor service. Friendly staff who apologised and made excuses that the kitchen was backed up. The food was pretty good. We had coffin bay oysters and kingfish ceviche which was nice. But, we had a 7.30pm booking and didn’t eat our mains until 9.15pm! Mains...were the beef cheeks and ribs. Which were good. Apologising is one thing but maybe a free drink or a discount would work better if you can’t sort out your service and kitchen.More
