7am on a Wednesday morning, waiting for Mokha to open when three staff members are out the front smoking. One girl throws her cigarette butt into the drain and walks away! I can't believe it :-(

The most common breakfast item, eggs benedict, was not available nor were the pancakes but instead of telling us this before seating us, we were told when ordering. Very disappointing as we had chosen this cafe for these items only.
Our food was absolutely delicious and came out in a timely manner. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. The sweet potato wedges were sublime.
We both had the big breakfast. Sausage, bacon, eggs your choice, tomato, wild mushrooms and a hash brown and toast. It was simply superb the coffee was amazing and the staff fantastic. Lovely laid back place for a lazy Saturday morning meal.....
Looking for somewhere to eat and found Mokha almost by accident. Immediately loved the atmosphere created by the staff followed by excellent food and service. I would recommend anyone coming to Byron Bay to try this place, you won't be disappointed.
