Nice atmosphere with a wide selection of cakes and slices. Service was simple and they could have made more of an effort to be welcoming.

We had a lovely breakfast here before leaving berrima. Loved the white tablecloth. Something you don't see often in a 'cafe' for breakfast. Food was excellent and service was very friendly. Worth a return visit.

If you are in Berrima the Magpie is definitely worth a visit - all the pies are home made: The duck pie is a definite must - big serving and absolutely full of duck, also the rhubarb and raspberry pie was absolutely delicious. Grab a bottle from the pub next door and enjoy a great lunch.

The cafe looked inviting but the staff change my mind on that just seconds after walking into the shop the were so rude I wanted to walk out. My sister who is in hospitality was blown away from the bad service and rude staff at the Maggie cafe .Prices here are over the top you might excuse the high prices... More

Dropped in by accident for morning tea to be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the offering. Had the BEST scones ever, great scrambled eggs and outstanding french toast and coffee. All cakes are baked in house and the owner takes obvious pride in her presentation of her cafe.

Decided to have lunch here as not been for at least two years. Nice setting but stops there. Seated at table with dirty tablecloth and had to eventually find our own menus. Service average and food plentiful but none of our meals were great and coffee worse. To top it off it was cash only. Won't go back unless new... More

Have eaten at this cafe / restaurant a number of times. The food and service was very good and its ambience quite charming. However, on the white tablecloth there was a largish brown coffee stain that the waitperson appeared to ignore. Yep OK a first world complaint but if you are going to go with a white tablecloth it has... More

Having been here a few times in previous years we thought we would enjoy a Saturday lunch. We had a average but generous size Ploughmans Lunch (sourdough bread was delicious) all spoilt by the price, a hovering maitre'd near the door who gave the impression we were going to skip without paying. It was a bit disconcerting to be told... More

Overpriced, bad coffee, below average meals. A thorough dissappointment. I know now to check this website every time before going to new places.

The decor is a feast for the eyes. We had large breakfasts and wanted to try the pastries. Charming place.
