Had a wonderful lunch with a group of girlfriends and it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the delicious food. had the veal and it was excellent, followed by the lemons curd tart. So good!!!

Everything about this restaurant deserves its No. 1 spot on Trip Advisor. The food is superb (you have to try the veal), the service is wonderful, excellent wine list, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Special mention must be made of Duncan who helped make...our visit so special. Thank you to all of you. Gluten-free diet catered for very well too. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.More

Josh’s never fails to please time and time again. If you come to the Highlands and don’t eat at Josh’s you’re a fool. Exquisite food, staff are sublime, there’s nothing they don’t do well. Bravo!

We took elderly mother there for a significant birthday and we all loved it. There really excellent food and a terrific menu. I had duck confit, yum yum! Everyone was super impressed. The atmosphere in the restuarant was very pleasant and the service good.

We find it hard to go past this much loved little restaurant. Josh and his team consistently combine delicious food, a relaxed ambience in delightful surroundings, and friendly service. Capturing the essence of Southern Highlands dining experience, Josh is our "go to" for brunch, lunch...or dinner & we're never disappointed.More

Had a lovely evening. Staff were friendly and service was efficient. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Food was great. We particularly enjoyed the Apple Tart Tartin dessert. Not too sweet, just right.

This place never disappoints. The food is amazing and so is the staff. I’ve been to Josh’s cafe quite a few times and the service is great. The meals always come out hot, tasty and you never have to wait for too long which is...important to me. I can’t believe the lady who wrote a review before me complaining about the cold, yet she was happy with the food and service. Hopefully people reading her review will just laugh. Welcome to the Southern Highlands lady 😁.Perhaps wear an extra layer of clothing… just a thought.More

I am a newcomer Highlands resident and I looked forward to going to Josh's as so many people have recommended it. Saturday night it was buzzing with people coming and going. The food was good. The wait staff were good. BUT our table for two,...right in front of the swinging front door, was awful. Not Josh's fault that it was 1c but it was far too cold for me. Even with my coat on throughout my meal, it was freezing. When I mentioned to the waiter that it was pretty cold with the constantly opening door, he suggested I put an ancient yak skin over my coat! No thank you and thank you for the sore throat and cough which I now have as a memento. I am 72 and think I could have had much better treatment. The small portions were fine as I dislike places which serve huge ones. But I'm not sure I am up to dicing with the freezing cold outdoors when supposedly seated inside.More
