The spiced Turkish lamb and pide was excellent. It was a very well prepared meal. The chef and owners know what they are doing.

Can't begin to describe the incredible quality of the food. If I lived in Berrima I would go there every day. Service was incredible even though they were very busy on Fathers Day. If you plan to stop in Berrima Josh's Cafe is an absolute...must.More
This cafe was a delightful find. The food was quick, absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! The service was friendly and impeccable. Duncan our server was funny, friendly and attentive. What a wonderful little place. Absolutely recommend.
Josh's has a lot of great reviews and I was very curious to find out why! It really felt like we were having a meal at a good friends house. Although a lot of dishes were influenced with Turkish cuisine they really were not too...heavy or over bearing. The service was so friendly and warm, very helpful picking the right food for our mood. The duck was sensational, and as was the self sauced chocolate pudding.More
Josh's Cafe is dead easy to miss as you walk the main drag, because its not well marked at eye level ¬ but those in the now like it that way! That said we were right on the midday button when they opened Sunday last..&...we were ready for a tasty tuck-in! We got it! When it became known the chef was from Sri Lanka the seemingly odd listing of Goat Curry made more sense seeing the menu offerings weren't particularly Asian overall. & although listed as 'hot', for me it wasn't in any way excessively 'spicey;..just right ! Two others agreed ...& the fourth person in our party ordered spiced lamb & he was just a happy. Friendly & professional service a hallmark & there's a few nice wines by the glass if you don't fancy more serious consumption..from which there's a far greater selection from which to choose. Warmly Recommended.More
What an exceptional lunch! So many fabulous choices and the staff are super attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Called in after an evening drive down from Sydney on a Friday evening. No booking, No problem, for a table for two - so began our exquisite even of great food and friendly service. Mains were suburb; Turkish Lamb and the Veal were great and...served with locally sourced wine. Friends joined for desert and coffee and were accommodated with same friendly service.More
Just literally finished our lunch there few minutes ago. Superb service, exquisite food, this Cafe deserve a hatted rate!one happy customers we are.
The service is excellent or better. The meal as always was very special with one reservation. The crab cakes were delicious, the pork special, my only reservation is that the eggplant main course was a little too oily. The bubbly, as always ,good and generous....Once again, I have to commend the service, it's relaxed but done with expertise. We'll be back.More
Incredibly busy lunch venue, but the staff very kindly accommodated us. I ordered the homemade sausages which were good, but hubby ordered the brisket which was sensational (the lost star is purely due to food envy lol). Only other note is the cafe can be...very noisy when full (which I suspect is always). Recommended.More
Good standard fare for many years. Worth a visit indeed. Excellent, attentive staff, nice food, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant, great food, great staff, lovely ambiance. Will definitely stop by again. We enjoyed a two course dinner sitting outside with the fairy lights and stars.
This entire town was an absolute delight. Kind of stumbled upon it and Josh’s place was recommended by a local shop owner. What a fantastic restaurant. Food was delicious and the atmosphere brilliant, thanks in part to Duncan who regaled us on how fast he...moves when it’s really busy! Definitely in my top few places to visit. Thanks guys!More
Had the fortune of eating at Joshs tonight and wow what a pleasant surprise. All 3 courses were perfection. The Veal was by far the best I have ever experienced. Staff were amazing, polite and quick but not forceful. we will most certainly return and...bring along others to share this experience.More
We were lucky to get a table at this lovely little restaurant (6 of us). Maître d’ was warm welcoming and the service was very Professional - we never had to ask for anything, water, computing pencils for the kids, even a teaspoon so our...4yr could eat her dessert. The food was next level. Exceptionally delicious, well presented, and unusual - not standard fare by any means. We all tried each other’s dishes and every single one was beautiful. Lots of gluten-free options (even four desserts were GF) which suited our family as well. Highly recommend going out of your way to eat here but I know it’s hard to get a table most nights!More
