The staff here are very friendly and it is very clean.
Good start.
The food was good enough but the Ceaser Wrap was drowning in dressing and to be honest way to big. It should be offered at half size or a full size if they wish to be so generous. Adding chips to it was ridiculous. Such a waste of food!
The tea was quite ordinary, I usually finish a pot easily but not this time. (Who can mess up a pot of tea?)

We are not big eaters at breakfast but cafe made half serves which made us happy. Situated straight opposite the sea so amazing views. Worth the stop as was just a drive by town for us.

Well, order on 13/4/22 1pm. Not complicated 1 Hamburger with cheese and bacon meat and bacon well done. Second hamburger with bacon, also meat and bacon well done. Small serve chips total $39. Not cheap but that’s life. We get two hamburgers neither one had cheese and neither one had meat or bacon well done, infact, the bacon was a bit rubbery, certainly not well done, barely cooked. I mean really, how hard is it. The woman taking the order was very nice and competent, she put all the order methodically into the system, I watched her and she repeated the order as she did it. I don’t get people, its very strange. Simple tasks they can’t seem to complete. It just wasn’t our lunch order delivered to us.

We had the misfortune of booking here for a family celebration during a busy period.
To begin with, they do not cater well for people who need GF options.
On the evening our whole family went, some of us were receiving our mains before our entrees and other meals were delivered after half the family had finished eating.
It was an absolute mess, which continued all the way to paying at the end, when they refused to believe that some meals hadn’t even arrived.

Hi Ellie, Just confirming when you visited as we haven't traded for evenings since mid November? If you happened to visit at this time I ask why wait 3 months to write a negative review? Its very difficult to bring this to the attention or raise the issue to be rectified with the staff this long after the questionable event and also during a time that people have been displaced from their homes, have lost employment and small business are already struggling.
As small business owners we use this platform to improve our service and peoples experience to ensure customers leave having a positive visit. I find your timing on this review extremely distasteful and not helpful at all.

Visited Bermagui for Sculpture Bermagui today. Very busy with lots of people walking around the sculptures and shops. Went to beachside cafe for lunch at 1330. Order taken swiftly and meals delivered. Just started our meal and chairs were then promptly being stacked on tables and moves made to close for the day. Sign placed by owner outside the door saying closing at 2pm. We felt we were an imposition being there and certainly did not enjoy the relaxed feeling of being able to have food and a drink. When paying for meal I apologised for delaying their closure- he stated he didn’t want anyone else coming in so put sign out. All other eating areas in Bermagui were bustling when we left and we certainly felt we picked the wrong place to eat in! I am pleased the owners are able to close early when lots of people around but will be hesitant to patronise again when times are quiet.

I had just finished a 7.3km walk, dying of thirst and in desperate need for a coffee. I called my partner to join me for coffee and we ended up having 2 coffees, BLT wrap, chips and gravy and the fish, chips and salad. My biggest regret is not taking pics of the delicious food, huge servings and one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. Social distancing adhered to, covid sign ins, sanitising empty used tables was all in order. The food was delivered piping hot and timely. Prices are on par with what you would expect to pay. The outlook is stunning and the staff are warm and friendly. Definitely give this place a big tick and will go back.

Just my opinion, but quality and quantity less than satisfactory. Only about 7 chips with a piece of oily battered fish ( x2 ) OMG I'm not from Paddington! Went back and suggested the serve of chips was a bit lean and they generously added a few more. My list of places NOT to eat is growing. Unfortunately couldn't give less than the 1 star.

I have eaten here before on a number of occasions and the food has always been good, nothing fancy but just good honest cafe food. This time the food was average, I had an eggs Bededict the eggs were hard, the hollandiase sort of lumpy and the bacon average nothing to stop you from eating it but very average. Ill give them another go next time Im down there hopefully it was just a bad day.

If your ever in Bermagui you need to go to the beach side cafe
- friendly staff
- amazing food
- great view
It’s all here would recommend to absolutely anyone. If your going at lunch time the Lot burger and the Chicken burger are amazing.

Good friendly service, top breakfast in a great spot. What else could you want? Beachside Café occupies prime café real estate in Bermagui's main street with wonderful water views and good food to match. Service was prompt and friendly, coffee was very good and the breakfast offerings were excellent at a reasonable price. Alfresco dining in a cozy umbrellaed courtyard with patio heaters was just what was needed on a beautiful but chilly winters day.

Very disappointing place. It was in the middle of the big freeze and there was no indoor seating. The undercover area had two big gas heaters but these were not working. We had flathead fillets with salad and it was very well cooked, the chips tasted good. We were so cold that our meal was cooling as we ate. I'm sure in better weather we may have appreciated it more.

Beautiful food and such lovely and helpful staff, as i am Celiac. They went out of their way, to make sure everything was gluten free. I had a fish burger with a side salad. Daughter had fish, chips and salad it was huge thefish was the length of the plate. 2nd time now, will Definately be back.

They really understand gluten free for coeliacs.
The gluten free Smoked Salmon toastie contained a fillet of smoked salmon.
The fisherman's basket had flathead and real calamari (not the fake squid rings).
Coffee nice and strong.
Just a perfect place for a meal.
The staff were fantastic.

We visited Bermi’s Beachside Cafe after an early morning swim in the blue pool.
The coffee and food was fresh and hot and very welcomed after our cold dip!
The open air outlook with beach views might be the best in town!
Staff were friendly and attentive despite strict covid-safe protocols.
Highly recommended.

Terrible customer service. Staff were not friendly. Waited 35 minutes for an egg and bacon roll. Enquired 3 times on third enquire I was told another 5 minutes. Then the manager told the cashier to refund my money. The young waiter was rude and intimidating. So much for supporting small local businesses.
If you want friendly service and the best pies on the coast, visit Bazzas hot bread shop.
