Always spot on. Have been visiting this cafe regularly over past 18 months. They offer a good range of Middle Eastern specials plus traditional Aussie breakfast items. The shakshuka is exactly as expected without being too spicy, the sabich croissant is a mouthful of flavours and their challahs are perfectly baked. The Chicken schnitzel challah is a standout, moist , flavoursome with the mango pickle perfectly blending in. Staff are always friendly and the coffee is first rate. Ballina is blessed to have cafes of this sort these days.

I was very impressed with the service and the warm welcome I received, not to mention the top quality food on offer!
Sensational flavours, fresh ingredients and the best falafels I’ve ever tasted added with said top quality service and welcome made this a very pleasurable experience!!

Must try once you visit Ballina. Nice and strong coffee as we like it. Great options of meal for every member of family. We chose shakshuka, falafel with hummus. Kids enjoyed house made croissants with jam and butter. The best breakfast we have ever had so far. Full of flavour and freshness. Lovely service and atmosphere in centre of Ballina.

What a great place to be. We got together there on Sunday for lunch and am here to recommend you do the same as often as you can.
The meals were all delicious, with good portions, the service was friendly and well paced, pricing very reasonable and the coffee so good.
I will definitely be back.

We live locally and Cafe Boker has become our regular choice for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and cake with friends and family (including our dog who's made very welcome at outdoor tables). Also ideal for relaxed business meetings. We just love the food, flavours always interesting and delicious. We've never been disappointed and we've tried many of the menu items; daily specials are genuinely special. All the staff are friendly and happy to chat. It's welcoming in a kind of homely, but with sophisticated food. Coffee is good, sometimes really excellent depending on who makes it, but always good. Shame they don't do dinner...

Visited Cafe Boker in Ballina recently, still the best spot for food and coffee in Ballina by miles. The meals are full of flavour and so quickly prepared. The ‘little marionette’ coffee is always made to such a high quality that there was a line out the door waiting for take aways!
It is so nice to have to have somewhere to go on the north coast that is a bit different, that brings the flavours of the world to locals. LOVE IT

I ordered the Egyptian Falafel plate, I was absolutely blown out with the incredible quality and flavours of the dishes it felt like I truly was in the middle east! Absolutely surreal experience you know when you eat at Cafe Boker you have not only wholesome experience but you'll leave wanting to come back again. All staff are beautiful and make you feel at home. Trust me your inner child will thank you!...

It appears that while Byron is going down hill lately, Ballina is on the up and up. We make a point of stopping at Cafe Boker (originally Chef & Shuka) anytime we are in Ballina. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, filling and well priced. The staff are always friendly and happy to welcome you even as it nears closing time. We would highly recommend this cafe - especially the Egyptian falafels and chicken shawarma.

My favourite place, have to stop every time going up north. Food is freshly cooked and well presented, had hummus with sow cooked lamb, was delicious & can’t get enough of it. Also have to mention the array of home baked treats, baklava being my favourite bet you will hardly stop yourself having more. No need to mention best delicious coffee in town. Great atmosphere and friendly great service, and happy staff. Highly recommended, you will leave with a smile on your face

While on holiday from Melbourne, this place was recommended to us by friends who live nearby, so we met up for lunch. The food was delicious, generous and different from anything we had eaten in Byron Bay where we were staying.
The coffee was great, the people were attentive and friendly and we would definitely come back again.

We popped in for coffee and ended up having brunch as the food looked and smelled so amazing! The menu offers something for everyone and is prepared fresh to order. The Shakshuka was bursting with flavour and simply delicious! Such a lovely atmosphere which is topped off with spot on service from the friendly, welcoming staff. We highly recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed and like us, longing to go back!

I was doubtful about this restaurant because Trip Advisor labelled it’s listing “Sponsored”. There was a car space outside, so we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. The Boker served a delicious middle-eastern style meal and very good coffee. Service was prompt and friendly. It was pleasant lunching on the footpath and watching the passing parade.
