Depends what your interpretation of a good burger is? This is a clean, well run stop off tucked away in a lay by on the A38 going westbound just before Liskeard. You could call it a burger van with a small add on eating shed....More

Having seen someone on Facebook recommend this wagon, we had to try for ourselves. What a great set up. Lots of food to choose from and you can sit inside too! We both had cheeseburgers which were really nice and a lovely strong cuppa.

Every time we venture down to Cornwall which is quite frequently we always try & stop for a pasty which has been twice so far this year. We are never disappointed. Proper Cornish pasties tender meat and lovely slices of veg in proper pastry, just...More

Called in for a very tasty burger. 10 times better than your usual McD's. A proper mug of good strong tea, and very friendly service makes it a good place to visit. Loos next door are surprisingly clean for a lay-by!

Often call there for a coffee and a bacon sarnie or two. Clean, pleasant, surprisingly light. The owner makes everyone feel welcome and part of an interesting establishment. More fascinating conversations happen here than at the BBC club in Broadcasting House. Good company and value...More

Simple brash and efficient. Not quit speedy grab and go but almost, although you might find yourself drawn into a friendly chat with the chef lady and the other punters.

The Trioadvisor mobile app threw this place up when I needed a quick but serious snack on my way to the far west. It was welcoming quick and the cook/server made short work of a large laden burger with extras. That and the mug of...More

A very well established snack burger etc bar in a busy lay-by on the A38 taking traffic west from Plymouth into Cornwall. Formerly for about twenty years a trailer taken away each evening but now a large bright yellow steel portakabin style container which is permanent and incorporates a large counter and also an internal seated and table area. This place does a constant trade for a non stop flow of lorry and other commercial vehicle drivers as well as a lot of families coach parties etc. There is a big turnover food is fresh burger bacon egg etc with hot and cold drinks. A very useful and well used facility for all visitors and travellers. Smart efficient staff in bright yellow tee shirts with logos and a website I cant recall the address of. This is a thriving and useful business and easily justifying a Tripadvisor entry.
