We stayed in Helston for four days last week and visited the Old Inn for lunch on the way back from Mullion Cove. The massive beef sandwich and the sausage baguette went down well, washed down with some great Cornish ale. We were so impressed with the food and the quaintness of the place that we booked for dinner the... More

The service was excellent and the Old Inn is dog friendly which helped us a lot as we had our dog on holiday with us. The food was very reasonably priced and good quality. This is a must try when in Mullion.

Typical pub food and price, friendly and helpful staff and dogs allowed in half the pub. Free parking over the road.

I have never stayed here, only eaten. It is a proper village pub with welcoming staff, excellent food which is not overpriced and a good choice of quality beers. It is the sort of pub where you are not only welcomed by the staff, but also by other customers.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here with the expected standards of a St Austell Brewery establishment and we were not disappointed. We loved the quaintness of the building, and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. My husband was delighted to find his favourite ale on tap! Delicious lunch. Enjoyed the visit so much we are thinking of returning with friends for an... More

After a wild walk around The Lizard, we came here for lunch. Fish pie, Gunnard and sea trout. All very good. Washed down with local cider and beer. An authentic Cornish interior, comfy seats, open fire, very cosy. They allow dogs, which is always a good sign. And, the ladies loo was very attractive. What not to like.
