Sakonis seems to serve the best food of the various mostly vegetarian Indian restaurants on Ealing Road in Alperton. I think they have redecorated it recently and it looks smart and contemporary. When we visited it on a Sunday lunchtime it was full with a varied but quite young clientele. They do a weekend breakfast buffet, a lunchtime buffet and... More

I hasn't visited sakoni in over 20 years so was looking forward to it when my mum really fancied their food. We went on a Sunday night for dinner. I noticed that they've had a refurb, but sadly the place didn't have the same buzzy vibe it used to have. It was empty. My mum suggested the buffet which is... More

I often like to visit here for brekki. It's all you can eat breakfast at the weekends and is good value considering the variety on offer. It's not fine dining, but it's tasty and family friendly. They have buffets at lunch and dinner too, but I always prefer the breakfasts. The loos could be a bit cleaner, but they suffice.

We went here for lunch, we waited 14 minutes for a table. The food is Indian vegetarian and their Chilli Paneer , crispy bhajia amongst others were fresh hot and very nice. Unfortunately service could certainly be improved, the staff are not very attentive. The gajjar halwa was cold and watery a let down after the mains. A real shame... More

Even after 25 mins into order, the starters which were just 1 BhelPuri and 1 Aloo Papdi Chaat couldn't make to our table. Simply waste of time!!!

I love dining here for western food. The mogo chips sold here is great! These restaurants are always full. But a very good one!

Sakonis is one place with awe fully rude and awkward staff. Just now we were been told that they're closed and wouldn't be able to serve us while there's still time left to close the restaurant. All the buffet was full and the lady refused to serve us although we were 30 min before the closing time. She said -... More

I haven't been to Sakonis's for years - was glad to see replacement of outdoor furniture for some proper seating. Opted for a January special - buy one get one free on the all you can eat lunch buffet so £6 a head. Food was ok, I guess what you might expect for a buffet, but was a bit frustrating... More

the place looks tired and dirty, looks like moldy walls and so much food debris on the floor. I didn't feel like they cared about customers, this used to be a bustling busy very good quality restaurant. Such a shame the food quality has gone down hill
