Me and my family of 7 booked a table to celebrate my Mum's birthday. After viewing the menu online, everybody was excited about the food. Upon arrival the bar was pretty busy and only one lad was serving. Our table was ready before it's time. The decor isn't that great, it isn't somewhere particularly fancy where I may take a... More

Booked a Spa Day via Wowcher for myself and a friend. We both felt quite let down by the entire experience yesterday - "complimentary refreshments" turned out to be a single cup of tea/coffee and a couple of small pastries. I think to refer to the facilities as a " 4 star spa" is stretching the truth completely - there... More

I have used Tankersley Manor on many occasions for business meetings as its so close to the M1 and easy to get to. The staff are always so helpful and delighted to see you, especially Bev in the bar, nothing is too much for her and she always has a smile on her face and is an asset to the... More

Called in for a coffee and received 5 star service from Bev. Super friendly and makes the best cappuccinos I have ever had!. Lovely relaxing bar area. Already arranged my next visit with the girls for afternoon tea and a little bit of fizz!

Menu to suit all tastes and budgets in a formal dining room but with plenty of space between tables so you dont feel overlooked

The eating area is just an extension of bar and so can be very noisy.Food was average and prices were a bit on the high side for the quality received. Wine selection not very good and we were disappointed with the two bottles we had during our stay.

Stopped over for one night recently on business, rooms are seriously dated and in need of modernising-pleasant enough spa though! The food here though is where all the pleasantries end, massively over priced for the kind of food served, poorly prepared, poorly cooked and meagre portion sizes. I had a starter of trout which was massively overcooked and the main... More
