Been in here many times to eat and had very good food each time. A little bit on the pricey side and would be nice to see different selection of beers on the pump every so often. Great on a summers day to sit and relax

We always go to vintage inns and this one was great. Food was hot and delicious and sometimes vintage inn doesn't always get this right but this pub has! Bravo to the chefs The pub was lovely wish we lived locally as it would be great as a pub to relax with the dogs and have a couple of drinks

We go to the March Hare regularly for lunch. We always enjoy the food and drinks. The waiting staff are often busy and plates don't get cleared quickly enough in my view but that doesn't detract from the food or how nice they are. When we went last time, my husband had the fried chicken and loved it so that's... More

Drink the Beer, the food is rubbish!! This pub could learn a lot from Wetherspoons, don't try to be good with food, make it something you offer as an added incentive and don't try to be a gastro pub!!!

Visited with our mother-in-law and had a nice dinner with good service. Glad we weren't much later as they had a kitchen shortage which meant people seated after us were facing a 45 minute wait. However, our food was very good and arrived hot. Mixed grill for me was a very good size and well cooked, fish and chips for... More

Attended on Tuesday night, had mushrooms to start with, portion was small but very nice. Followed by steak and chips, the sauce was to die for, finished with a triple pudding. The food was very nice, but the service a little slow. The table and cutlery was not clean, I didn't let this spoil the meal. Would go again.

I have been to the March Hare many times, mainly on special occasions. However, every single visit there, I have left disappointed. On my most recent visit, I ordered one of the fish dishes - all of which on the menu specify that they are deboned. The amount of times I had fish bones stuck in my throat was, frankly,... More

Friendly greeting when you arrive, all staff very courteous and eager to please. A very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a nice drink and eat great food. Our waitress was Tina who really made us feel comfortable and relaxed and we did not have to wait long for our drinks or food to arrive. The March Hare has never let us... More
