The Lord Raglan is an old world type of pub, it looks a bit tired but the food was excellent, beautifully presented and taste great, a little pricey for a pub but you get what you pay for. Good pint of beer which pleased hubby. Definitely going back and taking some friends

First time visiting in about 10 years but thankfully not a lot had changed. The food was excellent, the welcoming warm and the beer superb. My only criticism was that the fire wasn't roaring and the large room at the back of the pub was a little cold. That apart this is a pub well worth the walk or drive!

We went for Sunday roast, one lamb & one beef. I was slightly disappointed about the yorkshire pudding as it was just a lump of batter but other than that, good meats & plenty of them - all hot, plus the roasties was lovely & crisps - perfect! Puddings we both got chocolate fudge cake with ice cream & to... More

We were having a get together with a few friends, we all hadn't seen each other for a while so we wanted to make a night of it. We ordered food around 8pm. We were told there was a bit of a wait for food which was fine, it was a Sat night and somewhat busy. At 8:45 a waitress... More

This had been booked in advance and there was about 30 of us. We were in the large room and all tables were dressed but we were told we could only sit at certain tables as other diners wre expected. This did cause problems with people trying to sit together but nevertheless we all got a seat. By the time... More

Went here for Sunday lunch, we arrived just after 12 and it was quiet. We both ordered a roast beef Sunday lunch (£8.99 each), a lively pub, open fires and the girl serving was friendly. The food came quite quickly, BUT it was awful, the roast beef was fatty and gristly, the roast potatoes were no more than fried potato... More

On an evening out we decided to call in, for the first time, for a drink at 'The Lord Raglan'. Parked the car, and while checking we had our things the landlord came up to the car and told us to move on this is a private car park! At 9pm we were in good time before the pub shut.... More

We walked up to this place having had a really bad experience at another local 'country' pub just the week before. How pleasing it was to be met with a warm open-fire, good beer and an excellent cheese & onion pie! A few locals were supplemented by some more 'serious' walkers and all were friendly and welcoming.

I have visited this pub many times over the last 30 years and was always thrilled to see the variety of beers (specially the home made ones) on offer. my last visit left me disappointed. Also, bring back the Fat Boy Burger!

This place has become a regular spot for our family. We have all had pretty much all the main dishes from the menu between us now and cannot fault any of it. The service is always excellent. Overall great food, great beer and great service. I would highly recommend it. Xx
