Four of us went to the Lock Inn for a meal on Saturday night. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food which was hot, well presented, generous portions and very tasty - the chunky chips were really good.

Our walking group arranged for lunch here. Fifteen minutes after our arrival our food was on the table ( We pre- ordered). The food is typical pub grub so don't expect any culinary fireworks but it is what it is and it does very well....More

What can I say there is not much to dislike about this place, the food cheap and cheerful and the menu includes the worlds best fish pie... with actual fish chucks not some mashed up fish slop that some pubs try and pass of as...More

We stopped at a nearby campsite and popped to the lock twice. Food was lovely and we got to witness a boat going through too. Although from Birmingham I don't think I've ever seen a boat go through a lock!!! Would recommend, only downside was...More

A friendly village pub located on the picturesque Staffs and Worcestershire canal. Our aim is to serve good homecooked food using locally sourced ingredients. All our beef comes from the Bishop family farm located less than a mile away on Blakeshall lane.
