We entertained 21 people (which included 6 younger people) to a wedding celebration on Saturday lunchtime. The Cow & Calf had allocated as us a long room with a continuous table, which we decorated ourselves. They provided all the drinks and the service, but we...More

We went into the pub principally to shelter from the rain so we were delighted with the tasty Sunday roast. The boys particularly liked the unlimited gravy! Worth treating yourself with lunch here if you've trekked up to the cow and calves.
