I feel I must respond to your reply to the review posted on 15th July, by davem738 and correct some of the points you made. We were at the bar just before 8.30pm and after ordering a drink, we went straight through to the restaurant...More

I am sorry that you are vexed with the service you received at our pub and you feel the need to report it now twice. This part is to allow me to respond to a review the best way I can, so I can put...More

The above title does not describe how bad the service wars. Having made a reservation for 8:30 and arrived on time we were told to find a seat in the restaurant. The only table available was shoved up against the piano with little or no...More

Sorry you felt the need to leave. Your booking was for 8.30 but you turned up at 8.50. Not a problem. You were given a table. Escorted to by a waitress, given menus. We asked if you were ready to order, a few times and...More

Great people, food and atmosphere. A real pub with plenty of choices of beer, wine and spirits. Landlord can always fund you something you like.

We like good food and we quite often are disappointed by the food offered by pubs. No chance here! The food is quite clearly hand made in house by someone who knows how to cook. My cheese and onion pie had shortcrust bottom, fluffy inner...More

A small busy bar very friendly with reasonably priced drinks. Never tried the food as we visited on a Thursday and food is not served on Wednesdays and Thursdays, menus on blackboards in the pub looked interesting and affordable. Dog friendly

The Robin Hood is a fabulous place. Run by a farmer and his wife the pub has lots to offer. Good conversation interesting people and excellent food. Not ruined by brewery interior design experts it offers real ale and good wines.

Had a fantastic evening. Great beer (and cheap makes it even better) wonderful food and a very warm welcome went out of the way to accommodate us and the dog. My grumpy dad said he was in heaven! (that means a lot!!!!) even bought a...More

We cannot keep away from the Robin on a Sunday. The food is amazing! It was highly recommended by several people and it took us ages to get round to going. We have now been with our 2 year old son 4 weeks on the...More
