Ate here on Tuesday evening whilst on business in the area, the building is a lovely old building, and the pub / restaurant is okay inside. Food was very average as you would expect for a pub chain, my steak was over cooked and I...had about 8-10 chips to go with it, desert was better but you could tell it was straight out of a packet. Overall it was okay.More

Fabulous venue and an amazing member of staff who could not do enough for us…..a lovely lady called Bindi, team leader at the pub. She was so personable and made our visit so pleasant, it makes such a difference when you have lovely member of...staff. The food was amazing as was the service. This is listed as a dog friendly pub so we took the dog with us and were given the option of sitting on bench seats, armchairs or sofas which for us was not an option so we chose the bench. Unfortunately we found these quite...uncomfortable due to the height of them and no backrest. The food when it came was delicious we also ordered a sweet, (naughty I know), and chose the brandy snap with cherries and ice cream it was heavenly. We will definitely go back again but without the dog so we can sit in comfort.More

We decided to visit as we saw they did a set price 2 or 3 course meal deal menu. We arrived at 6pm for our tea out and was sat waiting for orders to be taken or food to be served to our table. Even...though plenty of staff. At 7.55pm we decided to go to the till and just pay the bill as we had waited 30mins for a desserts order to be taken it would have been supper time by the time we were dealt with. Very slow table service. As the building is spectacular we were expecting lovley high quality food but all the dishes we had were very average food. Excited to order the triple cooked chips, when they arrived they were triple cooked frozen chips, very disappointed.More

We were staying at the Premier Inn close by to the Old Mill for a few days holiday and had dinner at the Old Mill Brighouse 3 out of the 4 nights. Beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous setting, staff were all friendly and efficient. All...our meals were delicious and good selection of wines. Excellent service. If we are holidaying in the area again we will definitely be back, would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.More

Had an absolutely wonderful meal here at the beginning of the month. Came up to the premier inn for the night and this lovely restaurant was across the car park. Food was beautiful, very tasty and great portion size. The restaurant is laid out nicely,...very clean and a nice atmosphere. I must say that our waitress for the night Bindi was fantastic, very helpful, attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend a visit here and would definitely return if we are in the area!More
