The cooking class we took at Osteria di Casa Chianti will forever be one of my most memorable experiences. It was amazing to be part of the process and enjoy the delicious food we had prepared. The details, the atmosphere, everything was beautifully orchestrated from start to finish. I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Tuscany!

Ciao Becca ! Thanks for your kind message. I am very happy that you enjoyed the cooking class. It was a great pleasure for me to have you as a student with us, and then Chef Thomas was very happy. I hope the recipes will help you prepare delicious homemade dishes. A big hug and I hope to see you... More

This place has always been known for good, quality Tuscan meals. Max and Pee Wee did something very rare. They took over a very good restaurant and made it a world class place in the heart of Tuscany. The meals are simply fabulous. The chefs did a splendid job of providing a great deal of variety without sacrificing quality. But... More

Max and his staff were excellent! Outstanding food and wine. Friendly atmosphere. Treated us like VIPs. The chef was excellent and the tour of the kitchen was a added bonus. A must eat at restaurant while in Tuscany!

This restaurant was the highlight of our Italian vacation. The food is absolutely perfect and the service is the best that I have ever received. We got a tour of the kitchen where everything is made over a wood burning oven and all the ingredients are fresh. We were started the three types of delicious bread and a variety of... More

One of our possible dinner sites was Osteria di Casa Chianti and we opted for it last night. Man are we glad we did! When we came in we were warmly welcomed by by three different employees who happened to be passing by. The last was one of the owners. He asked how we were, in english. When I answered,... More

Imagine driving a winding Italian road at night. You're hungry, you're frustrated, even the GPS doesn't seem to know where you are. You pull into the parking lot and immediately notice the wonderful aromas emanating from the kitchen. You walk through the front door and are greeted warmly by Max and his staff. Warmth. Comfort. They seat you and quickly... More

We had an absolutely marvelous dinner here last night. We made a reservation, arrived at 20:30, were greeted by name and seated immediately. We were served by the proprietor, whose name is Masimiliano, I believe. He spoke English much better than we spoke Italian and provided us with exceptional service. We asked for his advice for appetizer, first course and... More

We let owner Massimiliano "organize" the meal for our party of six and what an amazing meal it was. The evening began with a bread basket delivered to the table with eight different olive oils and several balsamic vinegars followed by several appetizers featuring fresh truffles. Aromatic and delicious - the highlight for me was grilled pecorino cheese layered with... More

Some locals took us to this restaurant to enjoy some authentic local cuisine and we weren't disappointed. The place was buzzing with lots of happy noise and the owner made us very welcome. Food and local wine (biologic) excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend and we hope to go back on our next visit.
