We came across this quaint inn after riding on the side road vs78 Sunday afternoon. We passed the restaurant, turned around as we were curious, reviewed extensive menu and decided to dine there. Food---excellent, soup, salad, chicken dish and filet mignon. Coffee was smooth, dessert of ice cream--delicious--ice free. Manager very attentive and customer focused. You can tell she enjoys... We had a party of 20 here for our rehearsal dinner 10/7. Called earlier in the week to make a reservation. Staff called a few hours before to confirm number in party, occasion and set up of tables which I thought was excellent (I have about a decade of restaurant experience). We had about half of the people arrive about... More

It was a pleasure serving your group, as they were very friendly as well. We apologize for the delay in getting your food to your tables, but glad to hear you enjoyed them. We hope that you had a wonderful wedding and wish the best of luck to the newlyweds!! More

Place was dark and the food took forever. Meal portions were average. Bathrooms were disgusting. Some really shady looking people at the bar. Wouldn't recommend this place for family/fine dining.

Due to the tone of the review as well as the blatant misrepresentation of the restaurant on this site as well as others, it is apparent that this review is a personal attack. May I also point out that this reviewer has only ever made three reviews, which all happen to be about restaurants in close proximity, on the same... More

My wife and I were in the area from out of a town searching for a nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Fortunately, we discovered this gem off the beaten path. You wouldn't even think it's a restaurant just driving by either. And we had the distinct privilege of eating there with NO one else! (it was a Tuesday evening... More

We visited for dinner. There was no wait to be seated. Service was friendly and the food was good. There is a bar, indoor and outdoor seating. There is even a nice grassy area with a fire pit. The place feels like a cabin at summer camp. For dessert there is an ice place attached to the building. If you're... More

In looking for a new place to have dinner in the Hamburg area, my husband and I found this place online and decided to give it a try. After getting our drinks and ordering our meal, the manager gave us a brief tour of the grounds and the old fort, which we found to be very interesting. When we returned,... More

As we are history buffs and were spending the night in nearby Hamburg, we ended up dining at the Indian Fort Inn on a Thursday night. There were only 3 other tables of guests but the waitress was very friendly and the manager even took us on a private tour of the old 'fort' (built in 1767 I think) that... More

I took my uncle to dinner here on a Saturday at 5pm. The place was practically empty. 3 other tables besides us. The waitress was extremely friendly and outgoing. She got our drinks right away. She did not return for 20 minutes to take our orders. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive and the dining room... More

We drove 45 minutes so that I could have corned beef and cabbage, which I love at this time of year. The corned beef was tough and somewhat fatty, and was obviously thin slices of luncheon meat. The meal came with a small side salad and a piece of soda bread. I sent the corned beef dinner back, but finished... More

If you want the best food around, then this is a must stop place! The service is top notch, the food is amazing, the drinks are delicious! The best part is taking our daughter out with us (she's 5) and she loves it too. Cozy atmosphere, the owner is usually in and stops and talks with us. I honestly cannot... More
