Started following on facebook to see their specials and flavors. Saw they had rootbeer soft serve and just had to make the drive. Not disappointed, great stop. Busy place on a summer night.

Went here for a quick bite, not what I wanted to pay for a quick bite! For $10.50 you got a cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Also got a chili cheese dog, the chili was good but that was where it ended. It was a very soggy hot dog, lukewarm with lukewarm cheese on top. Would not recommend. Only got... More

We had a crew of our car club people go here for the past 5 yrs after our lunch at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. This year I was asked to join the group . About 12 of us went , The ice cream is great both soft serve or scoop and all the add-ons . One of our crew now has... More

I pass Twirly Top on my way to and from work, and I stop by frequently for an ice cream or snack on the way home. The food is good. Yes, it takes a bit of time for the hot food to be ready, but it is well worth the wait! The ice cream is always served up very quickly.... More

The Twirly Top was finally sold. The ice cream is still good and the sundae's with the fresh fruit are tasty. One thing to be aware of, they are closed on Sundays. To me, that is a mistake as most traffic would be coming past on a weekend, but that is their decision. Still worth a stop if you can.

I will qualify the "slow-ish service" (only for the hot food side) by saying that perhaps we are all a little too used to getting everything fast these days. My daughter & I ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries and it did take a bit (no more than 15 minutes), but they were fresh, hot, and delicious. We got our milkshake... More

We stopped by for lunch for the first time on our way to Laurel Lake. It cost me $13 and change for a chili dog, chicken nuggets and a small fry with two drinks. It took and entire half hour to prepare the food and when it finally came out my hot dog was cold and the fries were so... More

Hardly a day goes by when the Twirly Top is open when there isn't a bunch of cars, or motorcycles parked out front. This is a statement on how good the ice cream and other treats are. I tend to keep it simple with a soft serve mixed cone, or maybe a root beer float, but their specials can also... More
