We had several items for lunch. They were all OK but the real reason to stop here is the diner atmosphere. Take time to enjoy the whole place and take the kids.

My family loves Sara's! Yummy food and ice cream. We enjoy sitting outside. I would suggest some type of bug repellent for those summer nights when we eat outside. The mosquitoes can get nasty.

Great ice cream, not a fan of the Onion rings, great retro style, decent prices. Great photo ops outside. Perfect stop when coming off the Peninsula too.

To say I love Sara's would be an understatement! We visited Erie for 3 days and ate at Sara's all three days. Cheeseburgers, Smith's Hot Dogs and Ice Cream swirls can't be beat! Ambiance is always wonderful and they are very efficient in getting your food even though they are always packed. Don't be discouraged if it looks packed, you'll... More

Iconic stop for Erie natives and visitors! Admittedly, my husband and I are regulars... usually when it's his turn to cook :) You cannot beat a freshly grilled Smith's Hotdog, (from Smith Provision in Erie, PA), all the toppings you could hope for and of course curly fries and onion rings... oh the onion rings! Sara's onion rings are absolutely... More

Sara's is like a step back in time to the 1950's. It has been around since I was a kid visiting Presque Isle (and that is awhile!) While the food is average, the atmosphere is anything but. The ice cream is very good as well and just what you need on a hot summer's day after riding bikes or lounging... More

Saras is located at the entrance of the beach Presque Isle State Park (the only state park I have EVER been to that DOES NOT CHARGE YOU TO GET ONTO THE BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDING OF Lake Erie) The service is friendly and helpful best orange sherbet EVERRRRR The setting is fun and nostalgic for everyone I truly like the friendly and... A drive in fast food joint that makes you expect the Fonz to show up at any second. Adjoining the park of the same name the place is obviously a local institution. The complex includes this eatery with plastic picnic tables; an art deco diner, a pizzeria, and a surf shack. Antique gas pumps and fenders just add to the... More
