Andre’s is a casual, bistro style café and wine bar located in the Main Street Market Place a half block down the hill from the Starbucks in central Doylestown. This is a great place to dine if you are looking for out of the ordinary lighter fare featuring salads, artisanal panini/sandwiches and Naan bread pizzas. We were very pleased with... More

When I am in a place where the menu is filled with interesting choices and my sense is that the server is someone who REALLY knows what the restaurant excels at, I close my menu. I tell the server that I have no allergies, am willing to try anything and allow them to select (without telling me) my meal. My... More

After a bit of shopping it's a nice place to relax and have nice glass of wine and a bite to eat. Trendy atmosphere and the owner is always around to share a thought with!

Another reviewer said this was like dining in a medieval village in France. I've seriously got to wonder if he/she has ever been to France, let alone a medieval village there. Andre's is nothing like that. We ate upstairs - street level. I'm not sure but there maybe a cellar room also. (and maybe that's where the medieval village is!)... More

Andre's is a cozy location where you can buy meats, cheeses and wines ... or you can sit down and have a nosh. I was intrigued when I saw "naan pies" on the menu. The dough was a pillowy soft naan drizzled with olive oil and topped with arugula and proscruitto. It was a delicious combination. My friend had the... More

First, cheese lovers get ready. I don't know who Andre's purveyors are but his cheeses are fabulous. He makes great cheese plates, and combines them in various forms with meats and olives. His wines, unfortunately, are strictly local which can be very iffy. But when they are good, they're great because they are reasonably priced. And he will let you... More

My wife and I have had several enjoyable evenings at Andre's. Great wine and sangria and we always get the antipasto tray. Desert is also a must try.

We went to Doylestown to see the Uffizi show at the Mitchener Art Museum. Our attempts at getting a lunch at the museum cafe proved fruitless, so we decided to walk a couple blocks into town to see what we could find. Our first choice--the current menu did not resemble the onlive reviews, and prices seemed high for what one... More
