I went here with my family and the service was friendly. We received our food rather quickly and the food was delicious, I actually left it to the chef on how to prepare mine. Food was cooked as we requested and it was severed with a yummy cheese dips with chips. They have a nice selection of beer, we had... More

So first off, it was totally dead in there when we got there. So there was no excuse for how long it took to get drinks. Or food. Or our checks...We spent 3 hours there. Party of 7. I ordered a burger medium and it came out pink. Almost rare pink. I wanted to send it back but the waitress... More

Started out on a motorcycle ride going to see the covered bridges. After about 3 bridges we decided that it was beer time. I had read about this brewery in a book written by Ken Hull called Going Local (vol. 2). Great place. We did not eat nut saw several of the food items which looked tastey and nice sized.... More

Basic burger fare. Good beer. Prices were reasonable. Problem was with the service. The only time we got a smile was when the check was presented. Ordered a side dish of asparagus that was not delivered with the meal. Had to hunt down the waitress who was socializing with other waitstaff and did not even notice that the kitchen had... More

Food was pretty good. Beer was really good. Atmosphere was pretty good. Service (mainly speed) wasn't super great, even though the waitress was nice. I felt like we waited for everything and my daughter's macn cheese it seems they completely forgot. Nothing that happened ruined the experience, but sometimes it's the little things. Note: downtown/main street has only metered parking... More

We live in Danville and have tried it a few times. The beer is poor, mostly Belgium fruit flavored, or EXCESIVELY bitter bees. No balanced beer with wide range of favors. Food is plentiful but not very good. Burger was burned (every time) beyond the nice char a burger should have, and it was very oily and tasteless. Like eating... More

Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.
