Ed's diner is one of our favorite places to eat breakfast. We usually try to go once a month, due to my work schedule. It is a busy place and only open from 5am to 3:30 pm. The food is amazing and it's cheap as well. Many locals have been going there for years and my family have been going... More

This is about what you'd expect just outside Connellsville, PA and right next to the Melody Motor Lodge. Good basic food at decent prices, and a cheery staff of waitresses slinging the hash. Chock full of locals getting about their business, but no issues with a couple of spandexed bikers hungry for their morning fuel. I'd do it again any... More

The waitresses will go out of their way to make you happy, including fixing the cooks mess ups. The cooks have HORRIBLE hygiene issues. I've used the restrooms after them on numerous occasions and know they didn't wash their hands. Also constantly found hair in my food. I will no longer eat there

I visit here often, say a couple times a month. Very cheap and affordable not to mention great food! Food is very filling and it'll make you want to come back for every meal every day!

We stayed at the motel next door and at lunch and breakfast there. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been friendlier.

Of special note: Ed's is only open until 3:00 each day, so don't plan on it for dinner. I ate here after staying at the Melody Motel next door while on a bike tour along the GAP. Although the diner is hard to see, sitting tucked away behind the motel down a long driveway, do NOT miss this place! An... More

A somewhat small, humble place with great food. I had a reuben omelet which was wonderful. Breakfast is available anytime. Hours are 5:45am to 3pm, 7 days a week. No credit cards or checks are accepted, it's cash only.

This place is a little hard to find, but once you do, it's well worth it. Huge portions freshly made to order at a great price.

Tucked away off Hwy 119 south to Uniontown and on the way to West Virginia Ed's Diner rocks. The place is a no frills iconic 60's era coffee shop/diner. The waitresses are sharp and efficient and work like a well coached football team, helping each other whenever needed. The food was scratch cooked and all excellent. Our family ate there... More
