A very nice and peaceful restaurant. The food is great and the wait staff is well above average. Definitely worth a visit.

Went for breakfast with coworker and have eaten dinner here on multiple occasions and I'm still impressed. Great omelette and home fries are excellent. Had surf and turf and a chicken dish with pasta. Both meals were excellent quality and value. Their chocolate peanut butter cake is dangerously awesome. Definitely worth a try.

Went based on ratings. Just like everything else that has been consumed in Carlisle this week, it was top notch. Greeted promptly, nice decor, good portions and reasonable prices.

This is the pinnacle of a dining form that isn't usually noted for pinnacles: the all-American diner. The menu is extensive, desserts deluxe and numerous, staff very prompt and friendly, and the food superb. My only regret is that I haven't been back since my first visit, but I have recommended Momma Spriggs to friends, and I will get back.

This restaurant has all the atmosphere of a dining room in a nursing home or chain hotel. The decor is nice enough but dated and generic and only a step or two above cafeteria decor. All or most of the tables were booths. You will probably recognize Momma Spriggs immediately as one of those boring restaurants for old people. But... More

While in the area, I had the opportunity to dine here twice. Both times were good service and good food. I had a good meatloaf dinner and my sister enjoyed the roasted chicken. Our server, Tony, did a nice job.

We visited our son and daughter-in-law this weekend. They live in Carlisle, and hadn't eaten at Momma Spriggs, but heard good things. I now see why they're rated #1 in Carlisle. We were so impressed. We with we lived closer. We will be back. Our plan is to eat dinner there again, but also spend the night and return for... More
