I had the mussels and they were some of the best I have ever eaten. Great fries too. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Three of us had brunch here and ordered the fries, mussels, eggs Benedict and sausages. Plus we all had a Bloody Mary. Suffice it to say, we all left there quite happy. Yum.

Great place to visit in Carlisle! Unique beer selection. Great service. Food menu is good as well, but needs to rotate more.

This was just burgers and fries. Apparently the fries are supposed to be amazing and they are better than a fast food place, but not worth the$. Plus they don't come with the meal -have to be ordered separately. So I ordered a burger which came with potato chips.... if fries are the specialty , why do they come with... More

Reasons to go here include the extensive Belgian beer list (watch out for sticker shock on some of them), great service, and the wonderful frites. The menu never seems to change, so our family always gets the same things as before - I'm partial to the lamb burger. Their sauces are great on sandwiches or frites.

We lucked upon Cafe Bruges! First of all, Carlisle is a cute little town, with a great downtown street loaded with excellent choices. We chose Cafe Bruges by sheer luck, and couldn't have been happier. I'm not a drinker these days, but I drooled over 6 pages of Trappist beer choices. We started with the beet salad and I chose... Cafe Bruges is a family favorite. After several fantastic meals in Carlisle' Cafe Bruges, I had the opportunity to go a city "anywhere in Europe". I chose Bruges, Belgium and loved it! Upon my return, I appreciated Cafe Bruges even more because the food, beers, and atmosphere capture the essence of the European city in a special way just for... More

Great food. Authentic Belgian. Our group tried many dishes from the menu, and were pleased with their choices. I enjoyed the salmon. I didn't want to drink ale or beer, so I had a cider which was wonderful. One negative, the restaurant got very loud as the evening got later. However, I recommend this restaurant, and will go back.

We sojourned at the Cafe' Bruges last night with another couple before heading out to a show. When we arrived, the Cafe' was sparsely populated, and we were shown to a table at once. We ordered from their beverage menu, and also our entrees. It's hard to find a well done mussel, but not here. A selection of seasonings for... More

Been here a few times and the beer selection is great. The food is pretty good too. The mussels and fries with curry sauce are the top for me, but it's all pretty good. Will definitely be back.

Thank A G
