Lots of menu items to choose from. Very friendly staff. GREAT PIE! Nice 50's old style diner atmosphere. Prices are good. Bigger than it looks - lots of room for a larger group. Family's are welcome.

This Diner has been in operation for at least fifty years. it is open 24/7 everyday of the year. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The deserts are exceptional.

The place was busy at lunch time but we were waited on immediately. Many choices of sandwiches and entrees. So many choices of pies that the hardest thing is choosing which pie you want for dessert. Staff were so efficient. The coffee was getting low and another pot was brewing. Very good coffee. Our waitress was friendly and as soon... More

The real thing. Well worn Formica. Late middle aged waitresses who are friendly, efficient, great. And lots and lots of homemade pies. There are the kind of pies made with natural not chemicals.

Deans is a great, family friendly place that has old school diner appeal. Still has original diner on side you can sit at! Good food and friendly waitresses!!

We stopped here for breakfast because we remembered that it used to be good. We were very disappointed. The scrambled eggs we're very dry and hard. The vegetable cheese omelette used cheese whiz. The home fries we're just one and a half inch square chunks of potato that had been cooked- but barely. It is a shame to see a... More

This place serves up traditional diner food. Decent taste, low prices. Service was excellent. The selection of pies is amazing...the taste of the pies was just average. All in all, this beats a "fast food joint" if you need something to eat while traveling. I certainly would not make it a destination.

I have been driving between Central PA and Pittsburgh for 25 years and always thought I would like to stop here for breakfast or pie or something. Yesterday I had my chance. It was my first and last visit. It was not clean. The jam was served in a community jam/petri dish (ours came with a hair attached). The food... More

This place is TERRIBLE!! The waitstaff are worthless and sloppy. Their uniforms are all stained, crusty and disgusting!! I went here to eat because they used to be good and the prices are great - HOWEVER - I must tell you that last 3 times I have eaten here have turned me off FOREVER!! I tried to give this place... We were on our way home from vacation late in the evening and decided to stop for a cup of coffee and a quick bite. It's definitely a diner atmosphere which I enjoyed. Great pie and coffee and the waitress was very nice.
