The seating was average, service pleasant enough, but meal was below average. This is in my opinion, but if I want to have good Chinese, I’ll spend the time and drive to Salem.

Seeing it's 4-star rating, I came into Red Apple expecting a yummy Asian meal. What I got was a crappy, cliche Chinese food that was not at all creative. The green curry was listed on the menu as "hot and spicy", but I could not detect much spice, or for that matter, flavor, in the meal. Our waiter was talkative... More

Red Apple is a family run restaurant with a separate bar area. The food is delish! We've only eaten the Chinese food but they serve American as well. The portions are Large! Prices are quite reasonable. We have never been disappointed with our meal or our service here. It's not much to look at from the outside, so don't let... More

Food is good, you don't have to dress up. One of the few places left around Stayton area we will still eat at. Reasonable priced.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the Oriental food at the Red Apple. Loads of fresh vegetables and very nice creations. You certainly don't leave hungry and you'll be very satisfied with the taste. Haven't had a bad meal yet and we've tried several dishes. My favorite is the Kung Pao Chicken but try your favorites... There were six of us who ate at the Red Apple. We all ordered from the lunch menu except one who ordered from the dinner menu. We got hot tea right away and then had soup as soon as our order was placed. The choice was egg drop of hot and sour. Both soups were good. The lunch plates came... More

Large portions for a reasonable price. Yummy classics like sweet & sour chicken, chow mein and fried rice. Our go-to for Chinese food.
