Food was amazing and the service was friendly. Definitely try the bluegene fries, and the bartender makes a mean dirty martini

We stopped in Springfield, OR on a recent trip. The main reason to stop was the ties to The Simpsons. We walked by Moe's Tavern, and went in for the novelty. There is some Simpsons memorabilia around the place, though not quite as much as I expected. Dinner was good, but a little slow. Some of the locals patronizing the... More
Had to stop here (Simpsons connection) male bartender was very helpful and willing to share his experiences and comments about the area along with transportation tips. Pleasing to the eye décor however very little connection to The Simpsons - that's a shame. This separation reminded me of the early 1970's having dinner at the Rusty Scupper in Chicago with Ralph... The mushroom burger is hot!!!! Careful with that one. Service is pretty slow. Only about 4 tables in the place and 3 at the bar with about 3 servers/front line staff. Shouldn't have to wait at that level. Didn't greet me at the door. Had no idea if it was open seating or what. I finally asked at the bar... More
This rather compact location in downtown Springfield has a varied selection of beers and spirits. It shares a kitchen with its next door neighbor Chow, which provides a great selection of gourmet burgers and other fare.
Really good bar to meet friends and enjoy cocktails. It's decorated so cute and the atmosphere is totally relaxing. The bar has a good happy hour too.
It's connected to chow. Foods rich, comfort food. Lots of local beers on tap. Full bar. Always a special. Fuseball, pool, flat screens. We swing in w few times a month
Moe's does not pretend to be anything it is not. It is a sort of funky bar/restaurant in a less than upscale place. We went in because it was open, expecting the usual bar food. We got just that, but we were surprised to see how excellently prepared the food actually was. Many of the choices are "standards" (burgers, fries,... More
While visiting Portland for work, I decided to take a trip to the Simpson's home town (Springfield, Oregon). Moe's Tavern is easy to fine (It's one block from Main St.) and the staff was very friendly. Their burgers were excellent. Be sure to also try their candied bacon! The restaurant is decorated with some Simpson Memorabilia and a few Simpsons... More
Best burgers in town, great service and excellent drink selection. Conveniently located near the Springfield downtown station. This place has amazing food, try their burgers or chicken wings for a real treat. The tap selection has something for everyone with a wide variety of local microbrews. The staff is friendly and helpful.
