While waiting to check in to our hotel, across the street my party of 5 decided to have lunch here. Since our party was quite large and it was the busy lunch hour, we waited for about half an hour. They offered our Aunt a seat, since she walks with a cane. The sandwiches are pretty big portions and we... More

I have fantasized about flying to Portland just to get breakfast here again. I know that is weird and crazy. They did something strange and delightful with their latkes (just get them, idiot). (Sorry, that was rude). The bagel and lox was obviously delicious. The rachel sandwich (with tons of horseradish) was stupid good, great potato salad too (not too... More

Recently visited for breakfast which led to lunch a few days later. Fantastic offerings. The service was great as was the food. Now I stop by to purchase a large loaf of rye break to take home when I am in the area. So very happy that I finally stopped in.

My last day in Portland breakfast was here. I ordered the 222. Two eggs, two latkes and two slices of pastrami. Filling and good service

We finally found our Reuben sandwich and it was great here. Thick cut but so tender smokey corned beef and the same with the second pastrami sandwich we ordered. The sauerkraut was a little thin for our taste so you may want to order extra on the side. Oh, and the potato salad was wonderful too. It was well worth... More

Most eating places in Portland are crowded and when you are hungry, you ended up eating wherever they can take you in faster. That was the case with Kenny and Zuke's for us. It was nothing special, the chicken soup was too salty, our bagel sandwiches were OK. On the positive side, the service was fine. The servers were attentive,... More

Becoming a major star in Portland and for good reason, their food is good. Not particularly comfortable and you might be seated in front of a (very frequently opening) door. Tables are tiny, very little real estate to prop your elbow on and enjoy their excellent coffee. Not the cleanest looking establishment, but we suffered no ill effects and enjoyed... More

The best food at any airport! The pastrami is out of this world and all the other sandwiches our family devoured were equally great. Get a beer next to it and sit down to at a table to get serenaded by PDX piano or African harp player...you might almost miss your plane!

Stopped here for a late lunch (3p) and lucked into their happy hour. Ordered a couple adult beverages (house red, bourbon root beer), which were both good and the wine had a generous pour (always a plus). I had the Reuben slider (awesome) and hubs ordered the loaded fries (just ok) - they'd have benefited from a good dipping sauce.... More

My classic pastrami was delicious and the fries were well done. My daughter's matzo ball soup was a little too salty (perhaps the bottom of the pot b/c we were the last customers of the day) but it was still good. The low cal salad was also very good- crunchy fresh veggies w/ light red pepper dressing. It is definitely... More
