This place is amazing. It's authentic food and great environment . Everything we ordered was superb. We had large portions and were not able to eat it all. The waiter was great and efficient . The price was great. Love this place and will return when I am in this area again. Close to hospital. Don't miss this place!

This place is tucked away on corner of Barbur & Terwilliger behind the Starbucks. The menu is large with nice twists on classic Mexican cuisine. I had previously thought the Harbor House in Kona had the largest beers but I was wrong. The large mug a beer comes in is closer to a pitcher than a mug! The food is... More

We had the quesadillas and Alambres and a couple of Bohemia beers. 27.35. The staff is fantastic, the manager was so very welcoming, the food was hot and delicious, the beer was icy cold. The margaritas looked fantastic, made with real ingredients instead of that terrible syrup. The location is tucked away in a strip mall but they have a... More

We just went to La Costita tonight for dinner. I was in the mood for Mexican and was not disappointed. The salsa was great. I told my kids that if I could I would just drink it if I could. I had a burrito, my wife had the taco salad and my kids had cheese enchiladas. Everyone ate and left... More

We went to La Costita last evening (midweek) for dinner, and asked if we could once again order the flautas as we did last time. It took some time in our conversation with the waitress to have her understand what we wanted to order, but we did get the flautas and they were well prepared. The chips were GREAT as... More

We have eaten at this restaurant for many years, even before the big block rebuild which happened some years ago. We thought it was excellent back then, but since the restaurant was rebuilt, overall, it has been just "OK". However, the fluatas which are not listed on the menu have always been something we have loved each and every time... More

The service here is so friendly and engaging, I wish the food were better. It's not bad but it's not great. Too much cheese involved. That being said, I'm sure I'll go back because it's convenient and like I said, great people.

The margaritas are delicious, moderately priced, and boozy! The food and customer service are average.

My boyfriend and I visit La Costita almost once a week. The food is authentic and delicious and the staff is INCREDIBLE! They are super friendly and always remember us and try to meet our preferences. The food is wholesome and isn't all greasy and Americanized and the drinks are generous! We love this place and even after moving this... More
