This place seems to do OK in a really nice neighborhood but we really really didn't like it. The crust is heavy but meant to be thin. It's not brick oven, it sure isn't any kind of deep dish.....toppings are definitely Portlandiaish, but the sauce is what noped it for us....too much acid in the tomato so it really keeps... More

We were biking for the day in Portland and wanted to stop for lunch. A local recommended this place. I rate 1 star for the gal that took our order. She clearly wanted to be elsewhere than taking our order but the pizza when it arrived was excellent. We ordered half pepperoni and half Halloween. The crust was light and... More

I have been to a number of their shops before, on my own and with my kids at various times. Usually, the food is pretty good and the pizza is usually worth The extra bucks. The old school sodas and variety of other beverages is nice. In the case of this shop on Burnside, they really have slipped. Twice now,... More

Good gourmet pizzas by the slice or whole. Eat in or take away. i like their Greek salad and you can get real anchovies in the Caesar salad.

Moved here from Boston three years ago and could not believe how different (and awful) the pizza is out here. Finally tried Pizzicato and was surprised at how good it was! The crust is a traditional Italian crust, not too think and not super thin, and the sauce is full of flavor, lots of garlic and basil. Their Caesar Salad... More

We got two pizzas and two salads for my son's Birthday dinner! Great meal. More than enough for 6 adults and two kids. Fresh ingredients as well as ample portions.

With numerous locations all around Portland, Pizzicato is always a handy place to grab a delicious meal. With several pizza by the slice options, salads, and sandwiches, you can mix it up each day you go. They have wine, beer, and tasty non alcoholic beverages. Their gluten free crust is great.

Pizzacato pizza is very imaginative. You can buy by the slice or whole. By the slice allows you to try their many types. Ingredients are fresh, gluten free crust options as well. They have terrific salads. A large Caesar salad can feed 4 adults and when you add a by the slice pizza can be a reasonable meal price. We... More

Rates well for a small chain; nice thin crust, order by specialty pizza or build your own. A plus: Calamata olives served instead of canned. We have tried others, but keep coming back when we are pizza-starved. Mediocre wine selection, some beers, cheerful, quick service for the most part.

Pizzicato is one of the better places for a pie in Portland. The crust is uniformly good and the toppings varied and of high quality. The sleeper on the menu is the Caesar Salad. Garlicky, crunchy and awesome. I think it's the best in town. If you're looking for good pizza and GREAT Caesar Salad, Pizzicato is just the ticket.
