Can't say enough about this place. If you didn't know it was there, you'd walk right by the tree and vine covered entrance that hides the Victorian house that has the kitchen and seating when the weather is bad. We were there for good weather so all the tables were outside. They are open limited hours, limited days, they ONLY... More

a small, quirky place with excellent food, good prices, and a one-of-a-kind feel. The chefs and owners are a long-married couple (she Thai, he Anglo) and the dining room is a quaint amalgam of the homey, charming, and somewhat off-kilter (in a good way). I'd return in a heartbeat. The evening I shared dinner with a friend, we were there... More

My son took us to this excellent restaurant. The gate outside opens promptly at 6:00 p.m., and the restaurant only takes in the number of customers it can handle. Get there early and be the first in line, or you may have to wait awhile for your dinner. The wife is the cook and the husband is the waiter. The... More

This is our favorite Thai food in Portland. The spring rolls hold wonderful crispy tofu, noodles, carrots, Granny Smith apples and mint with a peanut sauce that will have you cleaning up the bowl. We love all the veggies she includes with the tofu and shrimp options. You can add extra veggies to any options. The fried rice is excellent... More

Visited August '13. Really blown away by how beautiful the dining garden area is and the food (though it takes a while to get to you as it would because it's just Khun Pic making it) is out of this world. Best Thai I've ever had.

How do describe a restaurant that looks like you're home, is tucked away behind a magnitude of vines and serves the most amazing Thai food. We were taken to this little gem by friends who live in Portland. While the menu is what some might call limited, there is still plenty to choose from with a specials curry which was... More

As mentioned by all, Khun Pic's is a provides a special meal that is more like an event. Get there a few minutes before they open at 6 and your meal will be a bit 'quicker', but eating here requires a two hour minimum. This is some of the most authentic thai food in the US. CASH ONLY.

Khun Pic's Bahn Thai is simply the most delicious experience in all of Portland. Unique, quirky, divine. A true experience in fine dining.

I enjoy trying Thai food in any major metro. This one stood out to me. It is run by a husband and wife duo and has a very lovely laid back vibe. The menu was unique and changes daily. Everything is made to order. The outdoor seating was beautiful and the inside was lovely too. Their hours are fairly limited... More

i have traveled quite a bit and eaten in lots of good restaurants, but Khun Pic's remains my favorite. Every time I come back to Portland I try to go there as many times as possible! The place is not a machine restaurant, so yes you can wait a while for food and sometimes Mary (the cook) gets upset and... More
