You just can't beat a Flying Pie Pizza for toppings and freshness! With meats custom cut from a local deli you get the best and most every time! I cannot say enough good about this place. We go almost every time we go to Portland!

We come to Portland several times a year to visit our kids and grandkids and NEVER miss our special (family) gathering at Flying Pie!! I always look forward to these group events; one, because we get to be with our family, and two, because the pizza is really good!!! I take my statin, order the Miss Piggy, and never regret... More

I have been to other Flying Pie restaurants and nothing beats this location. I know the pizza was great but what truly made the difference what the customer service and the sincere good nature of the team. Cold beer, great pizza can be had elsewhere too. The big bonus was the staff. Thanks

Yes, the pizza at Flying Pie is delicious. And there are local beers and ciders on tap, helpful staff, and lots of comfortable seating. But what I loved most about my recent visit was the perfectly-maintained atmosphere of a small-town community pizza parlor, complete with photos on the walls of happy customers over the years, trophies from local kids' sports... The quest continues. Tried the flying pie today for lunch. Nice staff, easy order process slow at bussing tables. We ordered the small Stromboli pizza with NY thin crust and no pizza sauce just olive oil. Took about 25 minutes before our pizza was ready. The toppings were a plenty with the sausage onions and green pepper on top of... More

The pizza wasn't horrible but I've had better. The plus is they load you up on your toppings, the down side is if they load you up with the wrong topping. I had to pick olives off mine, they messed up my order but I didn't want to wait for another. Not a horrible thing but like I said, the... More

I categorize pizza places as restaurants and pizza parlors. At pizza restaurants you expect to get an artisan pizza with a balanced level of toppings. At a pizza parlor you expect to get a giant pie piled high with lots of toppings. Flying Pie is the latter. The pizza is covered with stuff and delicious. I caution you against ordering... More

If you are up to cramming into a tight space and are up for overpriced pizza, this stop is for you. The crowd is very eclectic.
