Had a wonderful pre fix dinner with a small group. Loved everything and had many new dishes we'd never had before (Pici al Ragu di Coniglio). Service and atmosphere were just great.

Had dinner tonight at this great restaurant. The wild boar pasta was amazing. The steak was a miss. They cooked the steak Sous-vide and unfortunately missed the medium rare mark. Dry steak. Shared feedback with waiter and manager who professed concern but did not recognize...More

Yes, clean your plate—-easily done. The pici with rabbit is mouth watering—-so tasty I’ve ordered it on both my visits to Mucca. My dinner companions ordered gnocchi, the pappardelle with wild boar ragu, and the tortellini. All are members of the Clean Plate Club. The...More

It's taken me too long to write this review but thank you to other trip advisor users for helping me find this restaurant. The food was beyond expectations, as was the service. We asked to sit outside but then it was much warmer than we...More

We went for my birthday and although we are not huge eaters, we shared some delightful courses. The wine list is extensive and the service is fantastic. We can't wait to go back.

Not my first time here, nor will it be my last. Always on my hit list when I’m in town. Consistent quality when it comes to the food, and the wine list is also great. Remember to book! Even mid week it can get full

Freshly made pastas and quaint ambiance make this a great choice for a date night. Have also had small work dinners here.

Mucca Osteria is my favorite Portland restaurant because it delivers very good experiences in all respects. It is not cheap, but you get high quality in exchange for the high prices. (I cannot say the same for some other Portland restaurants.) My only complaint is...More

We sat up by the bar facing the open kitchen watching the guys doing their thing. People just chat and watch and drink and life is damn good! The place is classic/classy and relaxed/fun all at the same time. Service was attentive without being in...More

You can read other's reports on their excellent food, but for me, it was the attention to detail when as we often do bring a favorite bottle of wine along, they stepped up and were happy to decant it for us, and reallly impressed upon...More

There is a bar but it's intended to seat and serve people food not just hang out for drinks. Very small restaurant.

Yes it would be appropriate for a 12 year old. It's a small restaurant so I would recommend reservations.
