We enjoyed the unique and creative menu, great service and cool vibe. Loved the experience, although there was quite a bit of cooking smoke in the air, which kind of burned our eyes. It did not diminish our enjoyment significantly, however.

If you like your meats cured, dried, exotic, laced with flavor, and with great presentation, you will love this industrial location on the east side of the river in the warerhouse district. Tasty combinations of various meats, sausages, cheeses (local and imported), together with salads and larger plates. The best option for the novice might be to launch into the... More

So the building is very old, we sat under stairs, with a reservation and people walked up and down the entire meal. Charcuterie was great especially the Brie. Great Rapini with anchovies and orange salad. Tender and tasty octopus and a entree of a sausage sampler with sauerkraut. Great service and bar and food only next time no stairs.

If you want only meat and nothing else this may be OK, but my "mixed green salad was actually a bunch of white stem reject parts of romaine lettuce with a little vinegar and mustard (seriously not another veggie in sight on the salad) The chicken entree had a very cold potato gratin and a small amount of pesto and... Odd space in an old warehouse... Kinda cold in there. Street parking is ok, but I can see where it would get bad during busy times. A little hard to find, the sign was kinda small. Started with some Pickled Eggs..... Nicely done and tasty, not to pickley. Cocktails were OK - Good. We ordered an Italian Board and Spanish... More

This hard- to- find little restaurant is in a warehouse district of East Portland. Wish we'd had time for lunch, but we were on a mission to find local meats and cheeses to take on our national parks road trip and were not disappointed with our choices - Saucisson Sec with garlic, black pepper, and netmeg and Saucisson d'Alsace. Both... More

Seriously wonderful place to eat. When I first looked it up, I thought it was a shop, not a restaurant. But it is both! First of all when you walk in, you think you are in Europe. Lots of dark wood, small tile on the floors, servers wearing great big white aprons. AND - the sausage bar. I know that... More

Olympia Provisioning is a hole-in-the-wall City restaurant. Be prepared to eat meat. We tried the Italian Board Charcuterie which was great fun. We learned that Charcuterie is a branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products, such as bacon, ham, sausage, terrines, galantines, ballotines, pâtés, and confit. Ours had salamis, cheeses, sausage, fennel-parsley saled and olives. The server was quietly... More

Every time I come to Portland I dine at the Olympic Provisions in the SE neighborhood. It's location can be slightly hard to find if you are not familiar with the area, GPS it. They are famous for their charcuterie and they've earned it. My favorite dish is no longer on the menu, but I would recommend anything there. Breakfast... More
