Had a good, quick breakfast here before work one morning. The service was lightning quick. Great coffee (self serve). I'd eat here again for sure.

Best biscuits and gavy this side of the Mississippi! And with a nice cold Ginger bourbon on the side to wash it down, Let's not forget the Cajun frys with the Texes Pete hot sauseee! Bomb!

It was our first time to the Alberta Street location. We knew we would be in for a wait on a Sunday morning. Happily, the line moved quickly and we found a table out on the patio in the "sun" room, a completely covered and heated patio. The food was on point, consistently fabulous. My husband had the Reggie Deluxe.... More

Had breakfast at Pine State Biscuits in Portland Oregon this morning - dee-lish!! Had the Reggie Deluxe, fried chickenbreast, cheese, bacon, egg, with sausage gravy.. washed down with sweet tea.All for $10.00, you won't save any calories here but worth the splurge. People were lined down the street to get in.. we dined in the outer area on picnic tables... More

We loved the grits cake, the pancakes, and the biscuits, all the things we ordered tastes great, even the coffee and kids chocolate milk are excellent.

Nice hole in the wall spot - limited seating - and a steady flow of customers. Almost the entire menu is "on a biscuit". I had fried chicken, bacon, cheddar, apple butter on a biscuit and it was delicious. My friend had fried chicken, fried green tomato, a wedge iceberg lettuce and blue cheese dressing on a biscuit. He had... More

I can't only go to this place once per year because I leave feeling so so full, but the food is a fabulous slice of southern food done in the NW. Yes the food is heavy, but the biscuits and gravy are quick tasty. Note there are long lines during dinner times. Best to go mid afternoon or early dinner.

Rated in the top 10 restaurants if Portland, you have to wonder who is rating this place that high. It is a kind of fun fast food type restaurant based on biscuits, but they were overdone and not soft, but hard and crusty (like they were over baked) and the stuff that is put inside is heavy. I mean fried... More

OK, this place has been around several years, but I've been unwilling to wait in the extremely long line just to get a biscuit. This morning, there was not a person in line, so I got to check it out. They have a great menu with several fried chicken choices, but I had the BBQ pork served with cole slaw.... More
