The quality is very good, the wait is just getting ridiculous. Most PDX breakfast spots gave you an advantage if you showed up before the hipsters, dinks and Gramma and Granpa in for a visit with Cooper and Winny and precious little Olivia rolled out of bed. No more. Now, like apizza scholls there is a line before they open.... More

The food here is awesome! You've gotta try it if you haven't already. The biscuits are delicious! I had the Reggie Deluxe and it was the perfect meal on a cold winter morning. The hash browns were out of this world as well. Also, the atmosphere here is super chill and the line goes quickly.

Long line prior to opening but went very quickly and employees were friendly and pleasant. Purchased ala cart fixings to eat later - some fried chicken, some biscuits and some of the mushroom gravy. Very very tasty, even hours later! The gravy was especially YUM!

The line was long but so worth the wait! The fried chicken was the best I've ever had. The gravy was delicious. And of course the biscuits were to die for. A definite must go to restaurant in Portland.

Can't deny the reviews. This place is legit good! I was there early and had no problems sitting. Food was quick. I got The Reggie Deluxe. Biscuit was really good, but for me the sausage gravy was on point!! You won't be disappointed!

Buy anything. You can't go wrong with their food. I got the Reggie which is a chicken sandwich/biscuit and I still think about how good it was. Wish I had one to eat now. I'm going back to Portland next week and I'll definitely be going here for lunch!

I had the Chatfield (fried chicken breakfast sandwich) and it was excellent. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The combo of the cheese and chicken with maple bacon and gravy is out of this world. Their biscuits are very good (although I disagree they are the best in Portland) and are made the right way. I would... More

We went on a Monday when a lot of the shops on Alberta were closed. so we were able to go right into Pine State (around 11 a.m. when the shops that were going to open, opened). We got one order of biscuits and gravy - very tasty, you can order shitake gravy but we went sausage and it was... More

So, if you need to load up on carbs before you go beer tasting, this is the place! I had the biscuits and gravy with an egg on top and it was amazing. The menu does center around biscuits so if you are looking for your standard eggs, bacon and potatoes this may not be the place but if you... More

Reggie deluxe. The one and only. No trip to Portland is complete without a visit to pinestate. Greasy and delicious way to chase that hangover!
